#WiiGSC compared to a hacking tool

TBH, when it was installed I did feel like it was slowing my PC internet down.
Welp. My antivirus deleted it
I have used it before and it's slowed down my WiFi on just my PC so I might try to launch it in a Windows 7 VM
tbh, mine it also just detected it as HackTool:Win32/Keygen... it's weird that it detects it as a keygen, but I guess it thinks so, since it generates small files (wads).
Ohh I see. Thanks for the input
I tried testing it in 8.1 but did not have any luck
Im opening now in Windows 11, but I needed to download NET 3.5
maybe that's why it doesn't open for you
omfg, NET 3.5 installed edge, im gonna kill myself 😭
I did but Wii GSC is being a bitch with Windows 8.1... I'll just allow it on Windows 10
lol that's such a Microsoft thing to do. How did you even uninstall it in the first place?
i created a iso with Tiny11 Builder, that deletes all garbage from the iso
I got a little scared when I opened the task manager... I didn't see any network activity, but I saw NET Framework using 30% of my CPU without doing anything. I also saw for a second a process called "pingtester.exe" (or something like that). So I don't know what to tell you, it should be safe, many people recommend it, but who knows?
Ohh. That's good to know.
All programs are shady in their own ways. I'd just keep an eye on it some more
Does Tiny11 let you install a different browser instead of Edge?
deleted all bloatware, included Edge, but you can download a browser from the store, or carry a installer in a usb before reinstalling windows
