is there any update on this? i was trying the same thing but i accidentally clicked WiiConnect24 int he settings, went to that wii shop channel and wiiconnect24 are currently not serviced page, and now my mail just keeps asking me to turn wiiconnect24 on, i ran the patcher and it said successful but nothing changed.

yeah no luck on this either, tried 3 separate gmail accounts, a mail.ru email, waited for over 24h, no email arrived, checked spam, re-accepted eula, retried adding emails to the address book; absolutely nothing happened

Im upset that not more people are affected, because here its the same. No confirmation mail. Tried also several email adresses. Nothing. Registration has been reset recently, but no luck with the new registration. Anyone tried from wii to dolphin or the other way round?

Yeah I also don't have any emails working with my Wii too
I used to get them fine with Riiconnect when it was around. Perhaps is there some sort of collision or leftovers in the Wii system from Riiconnect that could interfere with WiiLink using it?

not working for me either. I sent a message to both of the email accounts I have registered already in Animal Crossing and it vanishes. Nothing comes to the email. Same using the Wii Message Board. Sending to the Wii from email also doesnt work. It worked a couple weeks ago now nothing

The email is being worked on atm. I think they're focusing on getting mail to consistently to send instead of a gamble everytime
I wouldn't take my full word on that I was just looking around for the same issues people were having to get an answer. (Mostly because I didn't wanna bother writing a new thread pff, they got enough on their plate to get things merging)
