There is no good reason to take it off, if someone wanted to watch a stream or multiple or look at other people in the call and chat in text they would have to back to #voice-general and back. Switching channels is more bad on mobile aswell.

I don't know why we disabled this based off of one incident of wanting someone to use another channel, I'll reenable it
@exotic cedar I can see wanting people to use another text chat for your circumstances but please don't outright disable a part of a channel
