#What does Wiimmfi actually do to the discs?

I installed Wiimmfi on Animal Crossing: City Folk, Mario Kart Wii, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl to have online play again. What I am worried about is when Wiimmfi patches the discs, does it actually modify them? If that’s the case, then did I just get rid of those discs’s authenticity?

Well it technically modifies them to use Wiimmfi links. But these modifications are not permanent. These will not be written on the disc. If you start the disc normally, the modifications will disappear.
