RiiTag not allowing me to change background or update the recent games I'm playing.

I've been struggling with refreshing my RiiTag because it shows that i played Vertigo as my recent game when it should show that I played RingFit Adventure. I don't know if it's a maintenance problem or my internet connection is bad. Because I also installed RiiTag RPC on my mac and it shows that i played RingFit Adventure as of recent. I'm so confused?
Edit: I forgot to mention when i change my background for my RiiTag it comes up as "An error occured, please try again later"
