When I use the newest listed DNS settings for Generation 4 or 5 Pokemon games, I receive a 20110 error. This likely means that the DNS settings are incorrect as listed, or some service that enabled these distribution events serverside is not enabled.

This issue seems to be fairly common in the past month from my research. Is anyone able to assist?

I have tested Pokemon Diamond on my 3DS with RC24 DNS and it was able to get Mystery Gifts (at least, I haven't tested other stuff). Do you use the RC24 DNS?

Is that something more than plugging in the 167.86.108.126 address? I've only tried it on the DS Lite for simplicity's sake, and it worked previously with the old 164 address

No. The 3DS has just the 167. DNS. I have no cheat codes or something like that enabled.

I did, and no dice. It's the same for Pt, HG, Black and Black 2

Did you try DNS 178.62.43.212? This one worked for me too. This has to be primary and secondary tho.

What would you recommend? I'm using an open wifi tether on my phone to connect. Should I clear my NWFC ID?

Do you use a Samsung Hotspot?

Then it's your phone. Samsung phones are ignoring the custom DNS on the DS.

Turning off Wi-Fi and going to mobile resolved @remote scaffold
