#How Safe is Wiimmfi? Don't Want My Data Stolen.

pretty sure wiimmfi has some anti cheat/extra protection so you should be fine. There are some cheaters but I've never heard a report of data being stolen from a router on MKWii
Ok, thank you, does the same go for downloading Homebrew software? My worry mainly came from not knowing how secure the devs of Wiimmfi made the service. Big companies are able to spend a lot of money on their security and release updates to prevent such things from happening. I'm not an expert on these things that's why I'm asking.

Yeah, if you want some homebrew apps, https://oscwii.org/ is a trusted source. Also Wiimmfi has been out for a long time so I'm sure they update their security
Official website for the Open Shop Channel open source homebrew apps repository.
Thank you for this info bro.
i don't think wiimmfi even stores alot of stuff
just console id's i think
other than that the connection is p2p over http so uh do with that as you will
Damn. I've heard a lot of horor stories with peer to peer.
GTA 5 Online is also P2P
most switch online games are p2p
realistically there’s not really any sensitive data coming out of your Wii to be stolen lol
with wiimmfi i think that the most that they can get is your wii id
