Creating Wii game shortcuts

I was wondering if an sd card would be sufficent for creating wii game shortcuts? (on vWii)

Did you have to convert it to work on vWii or did the Wii GSC wad already work

Only some need to be converted

If for whatever reason a forwarder is not available for vWii, you can use WiiForwarder2vWii to patch it for vWii. Do NOT attempt to install a Wii forwarder on a vWii or it may brick your vWii.

Oh. I was using Wii Sports (original)

and GSC made a forwarder wad

it doesn't sound like GSC was optimised for vWii

I dont think it was necessary, since all of these banners were available through disks and already in theory should work

So, as long as I use GSC to covert an existing iso or wbft (and don't use a forwarder from the internet) I should be fine?

Also, one other question, can I use these forwarders for GameCube games?

There ARE forwarders available for vWii on the internet. And if not, you can always convert a Wii one to vWii

If it doesn’t explicitly say “for vWii” always assume it’s for Wii, then attempt to convert it with the program

Most of the newer ones should work since they use the comex nand loader, I don’t think the waninkoko nandloader is supported with wiiforwarder2vwii

I mean, as you demonstrated wiigsc seems to work on vWii.

The main problem is some custom banners for other apps don’t work on vWii.
