I have a problem loading wads for wiiware stored on my SD card and using the emunand method for storage I learned from pence PC in their video on USBLoader GX in youtube. I changed the pathways for the relevant 2 Emunand folders, I have both Emunands in the Loader changed to partial and full and I dumped the Emunand as instructed and loaded some games from the loader wad manager. The problem I found was missing save games for my wii games and games not showing up in the main view. Before I did this I had 918 games in wii and gamecube that showed and worked perfectly. I erased the two Emunand folder contents and reset the Loader and everything went back to normal. I tried the process again from pence and sourced my wads from a different source thinking maybe that was the problem. Same thing happened. I even had one of the wads show up in favorites the second time. So I erased the contents of the folders and reset the Loader and everything works. I know there is a way for Wiiware games to show up in the Loader screen with the other games, but I must be missing something. Could you tell me the process you recommend to save the wads to an SD card to load through the loader correctly using Emunand process. The Pence process has worked for everything else except for this one area. Please tell me the correct process. I would even ask to watch the 9 minute segment on the Pence video to see what i followed to see for any mistakes. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon. Andrew Holtom.😩

bro i'm not readin allat
What would you do to put wiiware in usbloader gx
you can easly put one in your wii system menu
Problem with that is the nand memory in the vwii only holds up to 512mb
and?
a wiiware is usually 13 mb
The average wiiware wad is 35-40 mb. I am not talking about the console wiiware like nintendo, sega etc, but all the others.
idk about them
You don't know about wads? I understand there is a wasy to play them from the sd card and load each one separately.
idk about wiiware that is not nintendo
because it's not wiiware
All wiiware is nintendo for the wii, but all I am saying is the average non-virtual consols wad is 30-40mb. Can I run them off an sd card?
yeah
Can I load wiiware through usbloader gx
yes
To use them on loader, you need to set up an Emunand.
I don't recommend doing so, as a few games will give issues or not even boot at all; make sure to have priiloader installed, and use wads.
i will pass this case to @hallow falcon
To install WiiWare to your Emunand, it is best to use the program ShowMiiWads https://wiibrew.org/wiki/ShowMiiWads
- Dump your WiiWare or virtual console wads by following this guide: https://wii.guide/dump-wads
- If you’re WiiWare game supports online multiplayer, you can patch the wad to work with Wiimmfi https://wii.guide/wiimmfi (see https://wiimmfi.de/stat?m=25 for a list of supported games).
- Download ShowMiiWads and extract it to your Windows PC.
- Launch the exe file.
- Set the path where your WADs are stored.
- Set the path of your emunand. If you have not created one yet, make a folder called nands. Inside that, create a folder called 01.
- In ShowMiiWads, Select the wads you want to install to your emunand. Right click, and Extract to nand.
- If you don’t have internet on your Wii, you can download the covers from https://gametdb.com on your PC.
- If you have internet on your Wii, eject the SD from your pc and plug it back into the Wii, and download the covers by pressing 1 on your Wii remote.
Thank you for you help. But why is the loader causing problems with how I originally installed them.
