#Running Swiss on Wii
14 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
There’s a couple ways to run Swiss on Wii.
One way is by using a save game exploit just like you would on a GameCube (see https://Wii.guide/gcsaves)
Another is by launching Swiss through the homebrew channel using cmios which you can get through modmii on windows.
The first one requires a real GC game right?
And a real memory card yeah
Plus an sd gecko
What about the second method? How would I go with that
Currently only have an sd gecko
Actually now that i think about it i think you can just run the save exploit with Nintendont lol
Lemme get that second method tutorial rq
I recommend you use the Windows program, ModMii. It has many Wii modding tools or "activities" built in.
Download and install ModMii to your windows PC
https://modmii.github.io/
Launch Modmii Classic (not ModMii Skin)
Type I Agree and press enter
Type 4 and press enter for Download Page 4
Check the box for "WiiGator\Power cMIOS-v.02 [10]".
Click "Download!" at the top right
Go back to the ModMii window. You should see:
The following 1 files will be downloaded to "COPY_TO_SD":
1) WiiGator\Power cMIOS-v.02 [10]
Begin Downloading now?
Type Y and press enter.
When it's complete, type O and press enter to open the folder where WiiGator\Power cMIOS-v.02 [10] was downloaded.
Copy the WAD folder to the root of your SD.
Use a wad manager to install WiiGator\Power cMIOS-v.02 [10] to your Wii.
what do I do after this?
I think you just launch Swiss like you would any other app
