Is there a way to extract the audio from a .mo video file, in a way that doesn't involve using SDK or similar copyright stuff?

Seems like audacity will do the trick

Interesting. The website says you have to know what context the .mo file is in. Perhaps try one of the user submitted compatible programs available on the site

DS-elec sounds like it would work cuz it has a disc icon

I doubt file.org of any similar site are of help here...
The file in question I am dealing with is a MOC5 video, hence a Mobiclip encoded video file.
The converter from Gericom doesn't work since it only supports 3ds moflex files; I could get the video frames with mo2mp4, but the audio issue still remains

If not you may just need to look into the Wii development kit (which has sdk, I know)
