266 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
it should work?
yup
you can install games and other stuff in the usb
and use youre sd for priilaoder and other apps
I want to use the hdd for games and the sd for the essential cause it is only 4gb
ok
and put priilaoder in there
ok
remove apps from youre hdd
Empty
Nope
why isnt working plug youre usb out and leave the sd in
Alr
oh ok holdup
format it
Try just using Priiloader installer on SD
I think this one is bad
yeah do it
ok I have another one
@teal pawn
how do I get my files back
Do I insert it in the wii
?
Your files are gone. You need to re-add them.
yea but how
You can get the bootmii files back by launching HackMii installer and Prepare SD
What else did you have
If you did a bootmii backup and didn't save your backup to a PC or Google drive, then you'll need to perform a NAND backup again
I have the back up files
Prepare SD will give you the bootmii folder.
the ones you get from bootmii
Other files would just be apps that you can manually re-add
Like the Priiloader installer
what about the things from homebrew channel?
Nothing gets put on your SD automatically when you install the homebrew channel
You have to manually put apps on your SD
Homebrew Channel is installed to the Wii.
what installer
srry if I am a bit confused it is the first time I do smth like this
So I enter letterbomb again right?
Can be launched using Letterbomb or str2hax exploits.
Or because you have the homebrew channel you can just launch the Hackmii Installer like an app:
Get the Hackmii installer here:
https://bootmii.org/download/
Extract the .zip file, copy the HackMii Installer folder to your apps folder. You can make a folder called apps if it does not exist already. Then run the HackMii Installer via the homebrew channel
ok
You shouldn't have zip files on your SD
yea srry I meant the contents
ok I am in the installer
I go to bootmii
and then prepare sd card¿
yes
send a picture of the error
Let me check
Can I take out the SD card while being on the installer?
Na did both non worked
don't think so
you have to reset the installer
If you havent do so
Install Bootmii to IOS and Install Bootmii to boot2 (if it lets you install to boot2)
Install Priiloader
Wait
Do NAND backup if you don't have that
Then install Priiloader
Then install cIOS
I did before the sd got corrupt
Is that ok now?
Yeah. As long as you still have the NAND.bin and keys.bin files safe somewhere
Were you able to install Bootmii to boot2?
yes
What video cables are you using?
is ti bricked?
Composite or component
One sec
Download this .zip
Extract the .zip.
Copy the bootmii folder to the root of your SD. It should overwrite your existing bootmii folder.
Try booting the Wii again with the SD in.
No, my guess is your bootmii.ini file has VIDEO=PROGRESSIVE
Which would force a 480p signal but your cables don't support 480p
did you replace the files
no I am saying that that is the initial problem
not the resolution but the wii not booting
ok
no
it is not working
at all
the wii is on, and the screen recognices it but it doesnt boot into the start screen
Power down the Wii and remove the SD
Then power on without an SD inserted
ok
If you have a USB drive plugged in, please remove that as well
ok now it boots
Did u really overwrite your bootmii files with the one I gave
neat okay
hey
I am installing a usb loader
the games have to go in the same place as the apps folder?
No
they go like this
wbfs/name of the game [game id goes here/game id.wbfs
wbfs folder goes in the root
and each game has its own folder inside the wbfs folder
Can you please run Syscheck and test all IOS.
When it's done it will generate syscheck.csv file. Power down the Wii, insert the SD into a PC. Drag and drop the syscheck.csv file from the root of your SD into chat.
If you are using an USB it will not generate the file, you will have to send pictures of the whole report
why did you choose beta53
the three of them are wrong
you will have to follow the guide again, do so closely
ok so I connect it and do the guide that assumes you are connected to the internet
Yes
ok
I cant seem to find my wifi but I did find an alternative one that is also mien, is 2g ok?
that's what the Wii supports only
hence the other one not appearing
that's good now
eh what were you trying to do originally
install the usb loader?
I guess
I wanna play wii games
:))
should I get usb loader gx?
btw where can I get the games?
what is the difference?
Wiiflow has more customization and is more complex
while Gx is more simplistic
both serve the same purpose
Is the customization a big reason?
whichever is better for your taste
Just install both and play with them and see which you like more
ok
