Wii system update

So I have tried my hand on modding my Wii and it has worked for some time, but not anymore, the game on the usb wouldn’t load and would either black a black screen or it booted me back to the Homebrew channel, and now I have a Wii system update where a have a disc in and it that says it will delete my modifications I have on the Wii, does this mean I will no longer be able to have a modded Wii?

Get priiloader https://Wii.guide/priiloader and turn on block disc updates and block online updates in system menu hacks

Also Nintendo doesn’t check for homebrew on Wiis anymore so it wouldn’t matter if you updated or not
