Hypothetically you can just move it to the last page or put the channel on an SD card and remove it.
However if it's not yours you should probably get permission beforehand, explain the benefits such as going online again or realistically you can convince them with "free games"

But I didn't have mine because she told me we have it at home and I got lucky that it's moded before her purchase. That make me can do anything with it but not her save lol.

I got mine (black limited with resort) for around $90, but all original, 2 sets of mint cond mote, plus and nunchuck, box, but a bit scratched wii itself. So, prices can be very different) btw wii is pretty uncommon here, and mine is pretty nice priced
