dump your games
ive had a problem dumping games so i might need alittle help
then mariocube it
ill try that
i wont send you a link, you can just google that
all right
For dumping your own discs. If a game won’t dump with cleanrip then it’s too scratched to dump
Wii won’t read the usb
You have homebrew apps there?
What happens when you press 1, select USB, and press Ok
In the HBC
Is the USB drive formatted to MBR and FAT32?
And can you take a screenshot of the app files
i fixed it
i was trying to install priloader but it didn't show up as a valid installation.
Excuse me... YOU HAVE 2 BLACK WIIS BUT ALL OF YOUR WII REMOTE ARE WHITE!?
Am I okay to close the thread?
yeah 😅
Aw... man... 😢
They are broken
they have rusted battery placinging thingys
basically they are so rusted they refuse to work
You didn't threw them away?
Ok but do you know how to fix them. It would be nice to.
Do you have the white Wii? Too? Or just the black ones?
nope
just the black on es
Ok
I have 2 white wiis but one of them has its CD drive broken. 😢
Uh oh... 😳😳
You can probably with isopropophyl alchool
It looks so cute (like the white ones) 😘😘😍
Holy Wii REMOTE!
Great destruction has occurred
😢😢 damn I hate when this happens.
You only have this black one?
How many? 🤨🤨 please can you show all of them?
just these
Ok
and a pink one
I also have Wii remotes
I have a plan for the blue one
No I’m still having problems
I have the second black on the 2 BLACK ones that work. I will try to do a shell swap.
I have 8 white regular wii remotes
cool
I have 4 whites
i have 4 whites and 1 of them doesnt work
Do you know how to open a Wii remote PROPERLY
Can you explain the problem you want help with
I also have a 5th white one that turns on but does nothing
You need a tri wing screwdriver
i have one
"I do have those"
The Priiloader installer isn't appearing in the homebrew channel?
yeah
I'm just struggling to remove the clips in the top.
Can you send a screenshot of the Priiloader files on your SD
Yeah when I tried I broke one of the clips accidentally
Get like a pry tool or something
The same on a duplicate broken Wii remote
Try not to bend it too much
You shouldn't have a Priiloader folder on the root of your SD
I think i will open a thread on discord
What's inside the apps folder
and in that folder
Okay, copy the apps folder to the root of your SD
Then delete the priiloader folder that's on root
just the apps in the priloader folder?
Right
i did it
Okay try loading the app now
k
YES!
its there
Just installed it
Alcohol worked
How do I take out the rusted parts on the top?
fixed one wii remote
how do i ad games to wii flow through usb?
Do you have the disc or are you downloading from the internet
Follow this guide to dump your Wii games:
https://wii.guide/dump-games
Then use WBM or the other recommended software to transfer/convert the ISO to WBFS on your USB hard drive or SD:
https://wii.guide/wiibackupmanager
Wii Backup Manager only works for Wii games. There are different instructions for GameCube games.
downloading from internet
Okay, make sure they're in WBFS format
You'll also want to make sure your USB drive is MBR partition style with a single FAT32 partition with 32kb allocation unit size
Then you can transfer the wbfs to your USB drive using Wii Backup Manager
Then make sure you're using port0
Use 32kb (32,768 bytes) allocation unit size
Double check the partition style is MBR: https://www.howtogeek.com/245610/how-to-check-if-a-disk-uses-gpt-or-mbr-and-how-to-convert-between-the-two/
ok
Power down the Wii
Plug the USB drive into your PC
Open Disk Management.
Find your USB drive.
Send a screenshot like this one:
Right click where I highlighted in blue
Select Properties
Go to the volumes tab.
Make sure the Partition Style says MBR and not GPT
Okay, I recommend using a different USB drive.
USB sticks should be avoided as they often cause issues.
A USB hard drive will be more reliable.
Any usb hard drive 2tb or smaller should work. If you're low on money, just get the cheapest one you can find
Here is a very cheap 320gb HDD:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HF9H0MA/
If you want something with a reliable warranty and might be made of better material, get a 1tb one from a known brand like WD, Seagate, or Toshiba:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079D359S6/
You can also use any 2.5" SATA drive with an enclosure known to work with the Wii:
https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-Tool-free-Enclosure-Optimized-EC-UASP/dp/B00OJ3UJ2S/
If this isn't an option then I recommend loading games from an SD as the next best method.
If you must use the USB stick, you can try formatting the USB stick to WBFS instead of FAT32. This will sometimes allow a USB stick to work.
"sometimes"
not guaranteed it will work
