I have both Wad and apps folder on my usb driver but i still can't see them on the wii. I noticed that on the usb i had another folder called 'apps' but it contains other things that i think are necessary to usbloadergx and same things. Is that maybe the Issue?

WAD folder must be all caps. Also don’t use MMM. Use wii mod lite https://wii.guide/wiimodlite

So this is my apps folder. Even after putting the Wii Mod lite folder, on the homebrew i still had MMM. I uninstalled it and now i don't have the Wii Mode lite.
I controlled and the WAD folder is all caps

first off you should have your homebrew apps in the SD
is more recommended that way

Okay so now i almost installed all the WADs and shi, but the RiiConnect24 Mail Patcher doesn't appear on the homebrew channel
even tho i have the mail patcher folder on the sd
ik wad is not on caps but i can't change it

If you add a character you can change it to all caps and then just delete the temp character
