My internet dosent appear on my wii

I cant connect to the internet. I changed the router today.

The Wii needs a 2.4ghz signal with Network 802.11b enabled, and the security type set to at best WPA2-PSK (AES). If your isp will not let you change these settings, you have a few options:

You can use a LAN adapter. It must have the ASIX AX88772 Chipset or say “compatible with Wii”. Here’s a recommended LAN adapter by uGreen https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DRKYKMM/

You could also try creating a hotspot from a laptop

I did this to connect my friends Wii to the internet and it worked

It may not be possible in some instances to share wifi from the 2.4GHz band, and you'll also need to turn off the "Automatically turn off mobile hotspot" setting but it's worth a shot

If you're not running it from phone data and have unlimited internet already, than no, as far as I know

You're basically just sharing the internet connection from a computer instead of from the router (so it will go computer - router - network)

However if somebody who knows more could confirm that please let me know LMAO, I can't be responsible if this doesn't work or messes up your computer, I'm just saying it worked for me

I was thinking of getting some tp link thing that makes your wifi stronger. The tp link thing has a lover security setting so that means the wii can connect to it.

I don't use it anymore but if it's a TP Link range extender for an AC1750 router, than I've used one before

I dont think that sbb will be helpfull. I might buy that tp link crap. The internet in my room is bad anyway so i kind of need it.If it fails i will try the solutions.
