hi, i'd like to hack my wii for the first time and i'm probably going to use the letterbomb exploit. It says the sd card can't be more than 32gb (i'm used to it since the limit is also similar on 3ds), however on 3ds i could use a larger sd card as long as it was properly formatted to FAT32, is this also the case for the wii? i bought a 256gb to hold all my games so i'd like to use that for the hack if possible

Yes, you can use a larger SD if appropriately formatted to FAT32 with 32kb allocation unit size.

Be aware of the following drawbacks:

Some games and mods do not work with SD/large SD. For example Kirby Return to Dreamland does not run properly from SD and Brawl mods do not work with SDXC (SD larger than 32gb)

USB hard drives are usually cheaper per GB, have more lifetime writes (therefore live longer), and usually load games faster on the Wii.
