On MacOS, require support for getting NUS downloader to work. Is there confirmation as to whether a wineskin can work correctly?

Usually the answer is "no" to these sorts of things.

My wii doesn't appear to have the internet channel, and nintendo no longer offers it on the shopping channel.

So the flashhax route won't work.

Huh. That notice you get from the str2hax about if you're wiimote stops responding, is a bit misleading.
