Performing a SysCheck
Running a SysCheck on your system will allow us to troubleshoot any problems regarding IOS on your Wii. Follow this guide on how to perform one: https://wii.guide/syscheck.
When it's done, A syscheck.csv file will appear on the root of your SD Card. Insert SD into your PC, then drag and drop the syscheck.csv file into the chat, allowing us to better assess the issue.
Example below:
You were supposed to do the syscheck after you installed cios
But it’s cool, just try it now
Ok one moment
It still did black screen then wii off then back to homebrew
here is the new syscheck
ps I appreciate all of your guys help, for I am sick alot and playing my childhood games lifts my spirits
Your syscheck shows that you're missing Priiloader and cIOS.
install Priiloader:
https://wii.guide/priiloader
Continue to the link at the end of the Priiloader guide to read about the Do's and Don'ts of Wii modding. Then that page will link you to the last part of the main guide which would be to install cIOS.
Lack of cIOS would cause issues loading games from USB Loader GX
Lack of Priiloader is dangerous because it's a critical layer of brick protection
ok I just downloaded the cios and the priiloader hopefully this will do the trick
yep. Make sure u follow both the guides closely
ok I have the IOS running im at the setting screen
ps I do not have wifi on this wii
I do not know how to add wifi on the wii
Make sure you follow the offline instructions as described in https://wii.guide/cios
ok
It doesn't go on your SD or USB drive
make sure you extract the .zip before running the program
ok I did the downloads now where do I put the files? Its says root of SD so I dont know that term
"not in any folder"
find the wad files in the numbered folders and put those on the root
