@pearl trellis I don’t need the game disc to patch games with wiimmfi right?
I can just turn on the setting in usb loader gx
Yes
do I need to change the setting in both the loader options and the game setting for it to work?
The loader options are global settings so they apply to all the games unless you tell the game to do something else
Personally I would just enable Wiimmfi on individual games and leave the global setting off
yea I’m probably gonna do that, I just go to the private server option in the game setting right?
there's a chance that patching games that can't really be patched could slow down the startup of the game or cause other issues
wii
btw what is cleanrip? Never understood what it does
It dumps a disc game to SD/USB as an ISO file and can check the md5 of the dump to a db of clean dumps to see if it dumped the game properly
well there is something with the wii u
that causes it to have problems with custom themes
oh for themes
since most themes arent made for wii u
it causes problems
which is why you should be careful
for some reason yesterday I uninstalled the wad for the osc channel on wii menu but it still showed up, the wad was removed from my usb but still on my wii
i think you can just delete it manually on the wii
alr
wad files are installed to the Wii storage. Once you've used a wad manager to install a wad, you can delete the .wad file from your SD/USB and it will remain on the Wii.
he said he uninstalled it
Bro just deleted the file off his USB if it's still on his Wii after "uninstalling" it
Yeah
I don't know what you mean?
He didn't uninstall it properly.
How?
I just went on wii mod lite then wad manager, and selected uninstall wad
idk why it was still there
even tho it was off my usb
Tru using Wii Mod Lite's Any Title Manager
I’m there rn
@glacial sundial should I click delete?
it gave me a brick warning so I hope it doesn’t mess it up
If that's the one sure
I just used erase channel option to be safe
will that delete the saved game data tho?
or just the channel
I've only read that using the Data Management built into the sysmenu to delete homebrew installed forwarders doesn't entirely delete everything
If I delete the channel with title manager will it delete the wad from my usb?
Or do I need to delete that myself
