Hi,
I’ve got two problems. I have two wiis and have Homebrewed both of them. On one, I can play most games just fine; on the other, I can’t even select to play them in WiiFlow. I use a different SD card for each Wii.
The Wii with the SD that hassome working games were put on an SD card via Wii Backup Manager.
The games on the other SD were not put on the card using any sort of manager. They are completely unplayable. Should I redownload them to my computer and use Wii Backup Manager to put them onto the card?
My second issue is with WiiFlow and cIOS. Remember how I said most games on one SD card worked with its corresponding Wii? Well, there’s one game that won’t. When I try to play it, the screen reads something along the lines of “unauthorized device has been detected”. I’ve been told to use cIOS 224 for that specific game, but I don’t understand what that really means, other than I have to install (a) cIOS/es. On wii.guide, it says, if a game requires a specific cIOS to function, I have to “Select the game that isn’t working.
Click the gear icon.
Go to cIOS and use the arrows to select the IOS slot to use.
Try using 250 or 251, if 249 doesn’t work.
Press Save and try to load the game.”
But there is no cIOS in WiiFlow. I downloaded both cIOS and WiiFlow from wii.guide.
Also, do I replace cIOS: v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52
cIOS base: 57
cIOS slot: 249
cIOS version: 65535
with slot 224? (Or if it’s one of the others mentioned in the link that I’m supposed to edit?)
All of my game files are in the .wbfs format.
