I think you can right click and attempt to repair the drive
how do i do that?
Actually I think you have to run the chkdsk command in command prompt
(IK it says windows 10 but this works on windows 11 too)
do you think this will work
?
idk maybe
ok
trying it wont hurt
it seems complicated
its one command
chkdsk C: / r
ok
yes open command prompt as administrator
Okay replace C with H then
ok
Like the command isn’t working or it didn’t fix it
is there some kind of software that can help me with that?
It tells you in this link
is there some kind of software that can help me?
@marsh epoch what’s the command you’re supposed to type to repair drives
chkdsk?
Can you power down the Wii, connect the drive to your PC, then search in windows for cmd and press enter.
in the command prompt, type chkdsk x: but replace x with the letter for your drive.
then screenshot the output.
Can you open disk management and send a screenshot of your drive, should look like this:
You can try ejecting the SD and reinserting
But the data is likely gonzo
Unless you had some data software to recover it
there are software that can bring my data back
maybe but I can't help you there
like this one im looking at
What data was on it
its showing all my old files
wut
everything ive done with my wii for the past 2 years
okay but like save data is not on SD
Usually
In most cases
Maybe GameCube save data
Probably a NAND backup
did you have any GameCube save data on there?
You should be able to easily replace most of the data on there
real question what is a riilink
tru
i meant riiconnect
sorry
yeah but right now i seem to have found a software that can bring back my stuff
it was all my home brew apps and backup wii/gamecube games
you should probably have your games elsewhere as well
As a drive can die at any time
like where
hard drive
Like on your computer
