I followed the guides on wii.guide. I ran the DNS exploit to crack the Wii. I don't have an SD card, so I skipped the IOS installs.

Now I'm trying to install cIOS, and when I put my FAT32 formatted USB into the (correct port) on the Wii and open Homebrew, and then select the USB device, I get a DSI Excption...

I tried a different USB externam drive I have (exFAT) - no crash, but cIOS app/installer doesn't show up in the Homebrew menu (nothing shows up). Any ideas?

If it’s a flash drive it might not work well. 2. ExFat won’t work either, needs to be FAT32

If your drive is over 32GB then you can use gui format to format your drive to FAT32
