im positive bridging connections will work but my ethernet cable isnt being detected on my computer
so in theory if i bought a usb ethernet adapter and connected it to my Wii U, then connected an ethernet cable between that and my PC, it would work fine?
(provided i enable something in windows)

thats how I know my eth cable isnt detecting
does it show up at all in adapter settings
double click it
and then head to properties
oh go to the sharing tab
turn on the setting, then in the dropdown, select what is probably going to be wireless network connection
Okay it disconnected me on my pc but I chose wi-fi in the drop down
And pressed ok
And nothing happened

you sure that's the exact adapter you got? you sure you didn't get the usb 3.0 one?
