CleanRip Write Error?

I'm trying to rip NSMBW and followed the instructions on wii.guide to a T (or at least I think so; specifically this page https://wii.guide/dump-games) but both times I've attempted to rip it onto my FAT32 USB flash drive it gave me a write error message and exited after 10 seconds. Not sure what I'm doing wrong; anyone know what to do? (More specifically, I'm ripping the game to play it and Newer SMBW on Dolphin, so if anyone knows a more efficient way of doing this I'm down to do something different)

Means the disc probably has a scratch in it I think

Yeah idk even if it’s something minor it won’t rip all the way. Some of my discs are like that (although it’s mostly the ones I got from my friend when his Wii died)

There are places to get some like Mario Cube
