#what's every single hard mud you can do for the Wii?

I'm trying to get the most modified Wii possible so far. I have one done. I'm getting a second one done. The only one I have done is the Wii key. The second one I'm getting is the mini HDMI mod and I'm also replacing the housing to a clear one. Not sure if that's considered a hard mod but is there any other hard mods?

#

I'm also thinking of doing the same hard mods on my RVL 101 and I'm also thinking of getting a Wii mini and doing a few hard mods on there. The only different card mods I'm thinking of getting done is reading GameCube support as I think would be cool to have a RVL 101 West GameCube support even though I have a way with GameCube support already. Also, I heard I don't know if it's true that the CPU and GPU are slightly better on the later release so ignoring the Wii Mini what hard mods are there or is that it?

For a hard mod idea you could cut out the top of the shell and replace with glass with LED lights around it to make it look like a PC build

How much power is coming into the Wii from the power socket?

green wren
# marble whale Really? Could you give me more info on that?

I think Nintendont will work with any USB controller. Some Wii games have GameCube controller support but obviously If you have a RVL-101 can’t really do that. The creator of the CTGP-R mod made a patcher (originally was for vWii but worked on regular Wii’s) that could use a USB GameCube controller adapter to work. Only issue is only select adapters work. The OEM GameCube adapter Nintendo made for Wii U, a third party may flash adapter, and, while not officially documented but I tested myself, the panda global Ultimate GameCube adapter.

The brain slug patch was eventually included in with the CTGP mod

12 volts 3.7 amps. Good to know

green wren
#

Sounds about right

marble whale
#

What does the USB output normally? Isn't it something like 3 volts?

#

Also the SD gecko slots or the memory card plus for the GameCube could those be replaced with USB ports?

#

Or SD card slots?

Ah

#

I'm still looking for a five terabyte hard drive that could be formatted in to MBR flat 32

green wren
#

I could be wrong

Because then I could have a huge selection of games. Probably every Wii game. Every GameCube game every N64 game and the s game SNES game and still have a lot left over and probably also every single rum hack too and unreleased games and stuff that we weren't supposed to have. Like for the Wii there's the startup disc and the backup disc

green wren
#

Before you would have to run GC homebrew (Swiss) on Wii and install cmios

Yeah, fair point

#

Then again, what can they really do with the Mac address anyways

Also, I do not know what to do with this disc. I might need to burn it onto a DVD which is why it's not working cuz I'm clicking save all and nothing's happening

#

Do you know what the dev certs is

#

Clicked it and I'm pretty sure I need to burn this application to a DVD as nothing's working

green wren
#

Device certifications? No idea

#

What even is this menu

marble whale
#

couldn't this. Save your Wii f. You accidentally completely brick your Wii

#

Maybe that's what this disc was for. Have no idea what it was but it's cool to have

marble whale
#

Think you got to burn it onto a DVD as every option does not work

#

Would be gold to get the startup disc to see what that's like

#

Have a few junk motherboards that I could use

#

They work as just don't care about them

#

Why is no one showing up in this list? Lol

green wren
marble whale
#

But still it should show us

green wren
#

Idk

Idk you asked a dumb question

marble whale
#

Is maintenance mode the only mode he can put your Wii in?

green wren
#

What other modes would you need

marble whale
#

I don't know why would he even need maintenance mode?

green wren
#

Having too much mail on your Wii bricks it

marble whale
green wren
#

Would you like to find out?

marble whale
#

And is there a way to mass delete all mail?

marble whale
green wren
marble whale
#

Ah

green wren
marble whale
#

Is there a way to mass give yourself mail?

green wren
marble whale
#

And that will give you a whole bunch of we mail

green wren
#

If you send enough

#

Not really a way to send a whole bunch at once

#

I’d imagine it wouldn’t take that long though

marble whale
#

Also that's kind of a fatal flaw with the Wii. If having too much mail could break your Wii

#

Efforts an issue with causing too much mail. How would you fix it when you just have to boot into maintenance mode every time?

ik

#

but it's glued down

marble whale
#

So no need to do a case. Swamp

#

No, it's not

#

Just screwed down

#

If it was glued down you wouldn't be able to get it apart
