hi so, i own an original Nintendo wii from back when it first released, which I only just started using again recently to pickup my old Mario Kart Wii data…however I’m considering transferring my old save data to another wii I bought from a garage sale a few years ago, though I read online about homebrewing and I’m wondering if the method to transfer my MKW save data will require an internet connection?

I’ve never hacked any console before and my original Wii has parental controls (i was 6yo when I got the Wii) which i’m not gonna try and bother to crack the code for, nor do I remember the secret question answer so I’m handicapped with outdated wifi connection…

TL;DR - do save file transfers require internet connection?

I mean with home brew you might as well just give yourself a 100% file

Make sure you install priiloader and disable nocopy save data protection
