I’m looking into importing a copy of Tomodachi Collection, and I know there’s an English patch available online. Is it possible to patch the cartridge and play it on real hardware? (Or am I thinking of something else?) Any help is appreciated

I was just about to ask if thats what you meant

I dont believe you can, but why would you?

Just import the game, back up its contents, patch it, and run it through twilight menu

Or use a flashcart, or w.e you prefer

Instead of possibly corrupting an official cartridge, you could buy a flashcart that you can flash the patched rom onto, stick a label for tomodachi collection

In the past i wanted to do this with custom GBA carts, for rom hacks and the sort
