I just installed power loader from the Homebrew browser. How do i actually use it

I don't think I've heard of "power loader". Do you mean USB Loader GX? Or a different loader?

if you mean the one with the light switch (configureable usb loader) or whatever then dont use it its outdated

Judging from what others were saying in #console-tinkering, post loader is a form of bricking protection that seems to rely on both BootMii and Priiloader for some reason. In most cases, folks on here would recommend just sticking with BootMii and Priiloader as they're more up to date and often more reliable/trusted.

@dense violet I'd reccomend sticking as close to the recommendations on https://wii.guide as possible. Venture from those at your own risk basically.

As far as I know, wii.guide sticks to BootMii and Priiloader together and not much else.
