I'm trying to play the old Sonic games on my modded Wii. I have the Homebrew channel and the USB loader and I've been playing Wii games off a USB full of wbfs. I got that all set up, but none of the guides I can find on VC stuff is clear about where to start. Do I need the OG ROMs or a VC version of the games I want? Do I have to convert things? Is there a tool I have to download to read them off of the USB or SD?

Are the sonic games you want to play virtual console?

Sonic 1 is, yeah

2 is and I dunno about any others, I think it is just 1 and 2

Nevermind, there is also Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles and Spinball and Mean Bean Machine.

I'm only really worried about 1 and 2 though

I did some further research, and I now have wad files of Sonic 1, 2, 3 and K. Now I just need to put em on my Wii. But how?
