Removed vff downloader and tried to use rc24 natively, but it doesnt work and prints on both news and forecast, a message without an error code.
Inserting the rc24 dns in the network didnt work

but Forecast still gives fore06

Nintendo channel gives me error with no code

#

EVC gives me 109144 error when trying to select the region

I have the same issue on Dolphin, both Forecast and News channels say "An error has occurred, WiiConnect24 features cannot be used"

Just turn off WC24 for a couple of minutes, turn it on. News Channel will be fixed but keep in mind that the Forecast Channel is not fixed and will throw out FORE000006
