I've done NAND backups without BootMii before but i've forgotten how i did it nor can i find how to do so again with Google.
My wii has had a busted SD card port for as long as i can remember, which means i am completely unable to install BootMii, although, i do have Priiloader installed.
I apologize for making tons of threads today, but i just keep having problems with wii homebrew

idk another way to make a nand backup without bootmii, but surely someone knows

yea

#

so basically

#

USBLoaderGX can do this thing

#

of copying the current NAND into the EmuNAND

#

so that counts as a backup but doesn't return smth like "nand.bin"

#

just a bunch of folders and stuff

No idea what exactly sure how much USB loader GX dumps for the emuNAND.

Would be neat if it backs up enough so you could use it with Dolphin.

i can't dissaemble my wii either

#

because one of the screws is so stripped

#

it's impossible to take it out

because i think i know pretty well why it's not working

#

i just can't disassemble the wii to begin with

oh right. Repairing that isn't that easy. You'd have to be comfortable soldering as well.

it's not really an issue with the card reading

#

it's that the slot doesn't latch

#

so the sd card goes almost in but just not enough to actually read

#

just enough for the wii to know an SD card is in there

I don't know how well that approach will work, but you could try to copy your nand files to a folder on a hard drive with WiiXplorer.

#

But that won't give you a nand.bin file either
