hi. i've been trying to update my Wii U, but even after recreating the update folder, disabling Tiramisu, and switching the DNS to 1.1.1.1/1.0.0.1, i always get (lit.) "The console is to date," else an error code that i can't recall.

hi. i've been trying to update my Wii U, but even after recreating the update folder, disabling Tiramisu, and switching the DNS to 1.1.1.1/1.0.0.1, i always get (lit.) "The console is to date," else an error code that i can't recall.
this is a black Wii U, purchased in late autumn 2013, currently running 5.5.5U. there was one occasion when i had to remove the disc else the console would fail to boot.
