Chat Rules

  • 1. Listen to and comply with moderators. If you have a problem with a mod, DM a staff member in #meet-the-higherups.
    • 1.1 Do not contact multiple moderators about the same issue at once. If you need staff assistance, reach out to a single moderator and allow them time to respond.

  • 2. Chat is to be kept PG-13. No NSFW, this includes both implied and suggestive content.

Do not mini-mod (doing a mod’s job; answering questions, making correctional comments, etc.) in any channel including, but not limited to, af-filters forum, any of our help channels, and the seasonal af-ratings forum. You may DM or ping a single, online mod in #meet-the-chat-mods if you find something that needs staff attention.
  • 8. Please primarily speak English while you’re here so our moderators can moderate fluently.
  • 9. Do not exploit or abuse loopholes in the rules. If you find a loophole, inform a moderator.
  • 10. Do not discuss moderator actions taken on you or other users in the public channels. This includes, but is not limited to: bans, warns, or mutes.
#

  • 2. Do not discuss or make jokes about sensitive topics.

    • 3.1. No excessive talk of unsanitary topics (bodily waste, toilet humor, etc.)
  • 4. Disrespect and/or harassment of other users will not be tolerated. This includes publicly calling out users and DNI/ “Do not interact” lists. If you have concerns about a user please bring them to a moderator or higher up directly.

We will give 3 warnings/strikes depending on the severity of the incident. Generally, any incidents after 3 strikes will result in a mute. After you are muted multiple times, you risk a permanent removal from the server. If the behavior is severe, an immediate mute/ban will be given. Severity is decided at the moderator team’s discretion. Keep in mind that misbehavior on Discord may also affect your Art Fight account.

In general, the point is to make a conscious effort to obey the SPIRIT of the rules. Be kind to each other. Be patient with each other. Be mindful of the information you share with others. Listen to staff. 💙
