If your bug is not described below or mentioned in either of the resources above, you can submit a Bug Report Form. Please provide us with as much information as possible so we can best get to the root of the problem.
General Site Issues
❕Problem: The site says I have a notification, but when I click on it, there’s no actual notification there.
✔️ Solution: Press the "clear all" button as soon as you have a real notification; sometimes, that works to wipe ghost notifications from your inbox. Have a friend or someone in the server leave a comment or follow you to be able to use the clear all button if your notifications are currently empty.
There is no current fix for this bug when it comes to Attack Notifications, but we routinely run notification queries which should resolve the issue.
❕Problem: I'm not getting notified for new subscriptions/my number is wrong!
✔️ Solution: Deleting one subscription will cause the number to temporarily calculate correctly. A long term solution is still a work-in-progress.
❕Problem: The dropdown menu glitches into the side of my screen.
✔️ Solution: There's no current fix for this, but we’re working on it! This likely happens because your username is very short, and the site is built in a way that makes the menu glitch to the side.
❕Problem: My donor/supporter role disappeared on the site!
✔️ Solution: The perks you receive from contributing to Art Fight last a year from the date of the contribution. To check when your perks are set to expire, check your Contribution History.
Upload Issues
❕Problem: I got an error saying “413 Payload Too Large”
✔️ Solution: Your image is much larger than the site limit of 5MB; please resize it to be under 5MB. To do so, please utilize an online image compressor, like CompressPNG.
❕Problem: I got a “POST” error when submitting a character or attack.
✔️ Solution: This error indicated that your image is too large, the wrong format, or otherwise corrupted. Make sure your image is the right format (.jpg, .png, or .gif), and the right size (under 5MB or 2000x2000 pixels). You may resize non-animated images with Pixlr or resize gifs with EzGIF. If these don’t work, try sending the image to Discord and re-saving it or opening the file in MS Paint and re-saving it.
❕Problem: My image is showing up very dull/desaturated when I upload it to Art Fight.
✔️ Solution: If your images are uploading to Art Fight with reduced or desaturated colors, it may be due to using Procreate! Procreate canvases use a P3 color setting by default; most platforms handle this okay, but when processed by Art Fight it results in a more "dull"-looking image. You'll need to change your canvas color settings to one of the sRGB options to ensure it uploads correctly everywhere, including Art Fight.
❕Problem: I updated my character/attack thumbnails, but I don’t see any change.
✔️ Solution: Clear your cache via your browser settings, or do a hard refresh by pressing CTRL+F5 (Windows) or ⌘+Shift+R (Mac). Otherwise, just give it a few hours to update on your end!
Login Issues
❕Problem: I get an invalid token error when I try to reset my password or email.
✔️ Solution: You’ve either waited too long (1 hour+) to use the link in the mail to set the new password, or you have clicked the "send" button too many times, and are not using the most recent reset link you got on email. Try restarting the process and make sure you are using the link from the most recent email and immediately set the new password.
❕Problem: When I try opening the "reset password" link I got in my email, it just takes me to the front page and nothing happens.
✔️ Solution: You are most likely logged in while opening the link. Try opening the link in an incognito window or another browser or device.
❕Problem: I get an error when I try to sign up to the site.
✔️ Solution: Remove any emojis from your chosen username and password and make sure your password is 8 characters or more.
Profile Editing Issues
❕**Problem: **My profile description is doing weird things like deleting gaps, showing strange code and breaking formatting.
✔️ **Solution: **Marking your text and hitting "Remove Formatting" tends to get rid of all the extra tags easily. On PC, you can hold shift while pressing enter two times to create a horizontal gap.
❕Problem: My profile description suddenly has a huge chunk of code with suspicious links.
✔️ Solution: This is a common issue with the mobile browser Brave. Try accessing Art Fight via another browser to delete the text, and be careful to not click any of the links as they may contain harmful content. Our best recommendation is to utilize a different browser while using Art Fight, if you can.
❕Problem: I used the image insert tool in the text editor, but the image just breaks.
✔️ Solution: Make sure you are hosting the image on a proper image hosting site, Discord image links will break after 24 hours. Additionally, check that your image link ends with either .jpg, .png, or .gif.
2FA Authentication Issues
❕Problem: I’m having 2FA issues / I want to disable 2FA on my account, but I can’t access it.
✔️ Solution: Contact the following email regarding other 2FA issues or to disable your 2FA if you are unable to do so yourself: support@artfight.zendesk.com.
❕Problem: I enabled 2FA but I am not prompted by a 2FA authentication window when I log in.
✔️ Solution: If this occurs, you likely did not enable 2FA fully, or stopped in the middle of enabling 2FA. If 2FA is enabled properly, you should see "2FA is enabled" when visiting the Security tab in your Settings.
❕Problem: I don’t know what code to enter!
✔️ Solution: When you sign in and are prompted with the 2FA window, you will be asked to enter a randomly generated 6-digit code from your 2FA application. Enter this code into the 2FA prompt with no other characters or spaces (ex. 123456). Do not use a recovery code to sign in this way.
❕Problem: I entered the code, but it says it’s invalid.
✔️ Solution: Check all 2FA applications you may have downloaded onto your device. For Apple products, this may also be saved to the Passwords app, so check all places where you may have saved your Art Fight 2FA.
❕Problem: I’m still having trouble! What else can I do?
✔️ Solution: Depending on the device you are using, you may need to sync your clock to your authenticator app.
For iPhone users, simply go to your phone’s Settings > General > Date and Time > and Enable Set Automatically. If this was enabled before, you can disable it and re-enable it after a few seconds.
For Android users, in your 2FA app go to Settings > select Time Correction > select Sync.

When assessing a bug, please first ensure that there are no reported issues in #site-status before filing any form of bug report. Site performance may be impacted by maintenance or outages, which will all be reported on the server.
