#Make EMP not break blocks

Adds needless complexity for very little benefit. Replacing blocks would confuse repair bots/tentacles. and adding a stat would also confuse them. Also, how are your turrets falling off from emp? They aren’t susceptible to it.

#

The best way to disable a block for until it is repaired is to break it off the craft. Additionally, ftd isn’t realistic in the slightest.

#

Emp is not strong. It’s only good against unprepared things. Most things of normal size are, in fact, prepared.

Its just not interesting

this just sounds like bad design and should be rectified by fixing the design

#

this doesn’t work on properly designed craft

#

the gt kobold can tank over 5mil emp in raw damage and has enough deadends to hold back at least 30 surges

#

unnecessary lag and complexity as mentioned

#

besides

#

emp susceptible blocks are universally extremely low hp

There are reasons why not many things are emp susceptible. Emp protection is kinda expensive if you need to protect literally everything. It would make a bunch of things obsolete instantly.

no lol, spamming emp won't get you anyway fighting against somewhat good design

#

best thing it can do is sometimes snach some detection but for that why not use explosives or frag

#

unless you're figthing really tiny craft ofc

#

EMP could get some sort of overhaul to make it more interesting but I don't think this is the way to do it
