The ships these were observed on used multiple crank motors connected by flywheels. This occured with medium and large crank motors and I have not tested if this happens with small. The drives controlling the steam propellers function fine; however, the crank motors themselves will rotate in opposing directions causing the steam propellers to react incorrectly. Reconnecting the flywheels will fix the issue but the saved ship will break when loaded again from being spawned in or out and back into play.

this was initially observed with the simple weapons and render distance mods but it persisted even after uninstalling the mods and verifying game files

Is this being fixed anytime soon? Im probably going to redesign some ships if not
