Right now the altitude setting allows certain weapons to only be used against enemies at certain altitudes. The issue is that this altitude always looks from the average sea level. Meaning that a weapon made for surface targets needs to be set quite high in order to work in Ashes, while this might result in it activating against flying things in Neter.
Having options like above ground, above sea level or ground and above sea level (whichever is higher) would be nice.
#more base altitude options for the LWC

having a way to get primary enemy altitude above land in breadboard would be nice too. the way i currently do it i subtract my own craft's altitude to the enemy, but that only works if the terrain is flat
Another option, altitude relative to the craft/LWC
i think altitude relative to the craft would be the best solution to that yes, not in the code team so idk how hard it would be to do that , but it's a neat idea imo
Altitude relative to craft does not fix the issue i'm havin'. Overall does it also not bring much that altitude above ground won't give.
Unless it's about what Catto said.
Currently can the altitude above ground for the LWC also kinda be done with breadboard. Mostly think that it would be good to not have it be locked behind that.
i've also seen craft in ashes die because they drove on top of a mountain and were "too high"
That's truly a skill issue
got vertigo :(
Could maybe write it off as low atmosphere, but that's probably a stretch
