Ok, I know I haven't been interacting with feedback much, probably not enough to justify barging in here again, but I'm not taking this project terribly seriously and only expect like one person to be interested. I'm working on a project to get back into the swing of making music after doing any serious production in nearly a year.. And for some reason I thought it would be a good idea to take a shot at the kicker challenge at the same time.
SInce there aren't formalized rules that I am aware of, my personal rules are simply "only allowed instrament plugin is kicker, no sample tracks, everything else is fair game". on the off chance anyone is skeptical that I followed these rules and care enough to look into it, I included the mmpz file. It's in LMMS 1.2.2 and the only third-party plugin is loudmax.
#A derusting project, and a shot at the Kicker challange.

Not really sure what I'm looking for other than general advice I guess? Mostly just making this so I can show @daring thistle (I presume it's ok to drag you into this for me, since you did so for your post) It's going to be much longer than this, with at least two more sections (finishing the current "stressful" section and ending with another calm section... maybe)
Also if this goes well, I might extend this track into a three-track ep, with one song using only Zyn and one using only sounfonts. Except one of those, whichever I designate the "last" will cheat, including a recording of me playing the physical instrament that I was idly experemetning with when I made the core melody of this track. But I'm getting ahead of myself.
Will take a look when I'm at the computer!
Nice, very calm
Not in a position to judge mixing using the cheap headset I'm on rn
But it's cool, I like how it keeps its composure even though it gets dynamic on you 😎
I updated the track
The second stressful part, which starts about 3 minutes in (wow, this is gunna end up one of my longer tracks) is split into 3 parts, differentiated by tempo changes. I'm not sure if the first or third parts are long enough, or are paced well. The middle part sounds weird, but it's kinda supposed to. The last section, another calm section, is obviously incomplete.
