Cornered, cut off from their logistic lines, abandonned by their artillery support, a battalion of Silverhand - Mk. IV out of 68mm shells by sunset had no prospect of victories against a horde of colonials gathering in the dark. Twilight meant death for these mens and their machines if nothing could be done. That's when the warden tank commander had a desperate idea to save the situation, the cannons left by the artillery crews on the field. Covered by the darkness of the night the wardens scrapped the Logan Cannon 150mm in good condition out of their shields. Before removing the 68mm Dewar-AT-14 from the Silverhands hulls. With a lot of efforts some of these machines were able to receive the colonials head on. The optics were not adapted, the range was reduced, the crews were suffocating from the emanated smoke but the unreal firepower managed to drove back the enemy, buying time for reinforcements to arrive.

to 3,9 m in widths
to 3,8 m in hight

what I notices more is that the clothing lacks thickness
It just folds as if it is paper thin, I'll show you an example
I marked in yellowish places where things just appear to go into one another. The breast pocket one is very common, as you draw the body, and then add the pockets on top of it. However, in real life, those pockets are mounted onto the jacket, and there fore should not continue the bend. The one at the point where the collar folds is also one, as it just appears to be a fold of a really really thin object and not a more gradunial fold (or perhaps a piece of cloth mounted on another, like the pockets). The collar in the back I am unsure how to describe, but it feels like the curvature of a body cannot result into the collar leaving in a straight line

Like, really, don't get me wrong. The story is okay, well written. It isn't the way you write, you just made it sound a bit off from the culture or what a normal day in the colonial army would sound like. For example, you could call yourself a decanus.
You can make most of the stuff sound colonial just by adding latin or greek names and other stuff from the lore. No need to be totally accurate.

While the Legatus listens to the Senate, but is most probably a military leader, taking part in the meetings, yet leading the Colonial Legion, and not a state. But this is a speculation I made.

I bring you another cursed concept. At bike. basically a 2 man RPG launcher that can shoot a bit further then a standard rpg but is fixxed to the haul requiring the driver and gunner to work together to aim and requires the driver to stop and load.

most military bases have a parade square and its usually surrounded by the admin buildings and lecture halls as they recieve the most traffic on a normal day and are closer to the HQ building
