I do think we should have some WWI like vehicles in the early game. We do have trenches and rifles, bayonets, etc. why not have something more interesting than ACs, things like the ACT but with machineguns, etc. just my opinion, I will make a few vehicles to describe better what I mean.

Plus, yes, late game, ACs are useless, just like a WWI tank might be, depends on the model, ofc, against the WWII big bros. But there should be a stronger equivalent to it. Diversity, in turret, caliber, things like that makes meta harder to find, which means most of the time, longer time to have fun with vehicles, might even solve the tech tree evolution pfoblem they talked about. My opinion, again.

I really love the ground texture feeling and the lower part of the uniform, would you mind sharing your brushes? In fact, I love this particular one (the one you used on ground), I really love the way colour blends with it. Great for ground textures, especially grass. Now, I just hope it is not one of the default ones, cause that means you just did a great job in blending and I just made myself look stupid, cause most of them work pretty bad with my painting process. The problem of the JT was that it was easily pushing for 80 tons and the King Tiger was already at the very limit of it's drive train.
I also don't know why they went with the same Maybah HL230 engine on the Panther, Tiger and King Tiger, it just doesn't make sense.

AT guns that you need to push? They abandoned a lot of those because they couldn't move them, that's why you see they even mounted them on self-propelled vehicles like the French lorrein tractor.
As far as tanks go, Panzer IVs were a no go because they were a 30s design and reached their limit in terms of design with the Ausf H.
Tigers and KTs were big ass bunkers like you said and more were lost due to not being able to recover them from a mechanical failure or being bogged down than actual enemy combat.
On the other hand Panthers were unreliable because they went really cheap on some components.
Tank wise I think they just should have went with the DB Panther which was basically a vastly superior T34.
Would that have changed the outcome of the war? I don't know but probably not, however I'm stating my opinion on tanks not the outcome of the war here.

T34 had a lot of faults which could have been fixed with some German engineering to bring out the plus sides more.
And they even welded commander cupolas from Panzer IIIs and IVs on captured T34s.
Not to mention put armored skirts on them.
That couldn't fix it's major issues but I guess it elevated it enough for German crews that weren't used to the spartan Soviet design to use.
One obvious example is that German tanks were a hell of a lot more roomier.
Which improved ergonomics for the crews vastly.
Nobody wants to feel like he's cramped in a sardine can.

Sloped Armor Panzer IV was discussed in the form of the Ausf K which later became the H and the Panzer III/IV.
But like I said they dropped it because it had reached it's design limit, I'm not sure if the chassis would have allowed for it and they needed a better gun. Plus the Panther was just a bit more expensive.
So the Panther was the most logical choice to go with in replacing the old Panzer fleet but it was plagued by trying to be both a cheaper Soviet design and sophisticated German such being a very akward middle ground and it showed it's weakness in 1943 during the battle of Kursk where the Tiger reigned supreme over everything else really.

The thing with tank on tank combat is its nothing like you see in videogames
Communication in the vehicles is limited, and telling the driver to turn along with the gunner may end up just making it take longer for a gunner without a periscope to ID targets
A commander can just tell the driver full stop and the gunner the bearing of the target, allowing the gunner to engage without the problem of the vehicle bouncing and throwing their aim

@rocky tiger my honest suggestion. Put the hatchet turret back on the tank and just add fire and place the cannon downwards pointing in a different direction than the BT. IAs it is now, next to the tank, it looks like it got blown up by a nuke. It is just too heavy and durable for a shell to throw it away from the tank's body. Good job, don't get me wrong, that is the only detail I see it is worth a fix. You improved a lot and I am glad to share this art channel with a person as great as you. When I give this kind of critique, it is just that I know it can be perfect but there is just a small frustrating detail to it. Don't worry, it's out of empathy. I know it will be an awesome drawing!! Keep up the good work.
