The entire idea was that they expected the Germans to go around the Maginot. Like, the Maginot did as it was designed to do. They expected them to go through Belgium. Their entire strategy was with the knowledge the Germans would go around and invade Belgium. Just the French were idiots and ignored the German advance through the Ardennes.

Since it appears off topic art is ok, I present the horror that is the Heavy Interdiction Tank 602, aka the Bull Moose. A 90 ton beast of a heavy tank, the Bull Moose has a 240mm Combustion Light Gas Gun, twin 70mm Grenade Launchers, and twin 30mm Autocannons. The 70mms are in the side turrets and are on RWS mounts, and the 30mms are in the cupola. Not to mention to fit all this weaponry, the design is WIDER than the E-100

@rancid carbon you can do inktober however you like; friend of mine just does one huge drawing in the week; some do smaller or larger drawing depending on the day. some work with colour or sketches, others dont. Inktober is just a method to motivate the collective of creative people to do things out of the box together so you can compare results and such, and work more on technical stuff (namely inking, the reason it exists in the first place)
