The reason that pin exists is because a good portion of the time steam installs the wrong C++ or DirectX version

NAT routing usually slows it down
From what i know if i have NAT enabled on my connection it routes my connection trough the modem and ports in a private network with a personal IP in my own network, but in bridged mode, it just pass trough?

Tried all the things listed on support/the connection issues sticky and it resolved itself after I set the game to "fullscreen" and updated video drivers.
Unfortunately the issue has come back after the last micropatch. I've been able to get into the war a couple times after a number of attempts and play for a while, but it's getting frustrating. It also happens when I try to cross region boundaries (it loads for a minute or 2 and then "connection to server has been interrupted"). Sometimes I can load back into my body, and sometimes I can't.

@buoyant mason Could be a reading issue from the hard drive itself. Try not to run any other programs while running Foxhole and shut down existing applications that you deem not needed from the task manager

Go to steam, right click foxhole and properties then go to betas
Select one of the betas, presumably 0.19
Let it load, check if you can access the shards
Either way, load back 0.20 again and check the shards

anyone had the problem where the is no sound in game ??? well voice chat works but all sounds like running shooting isnt working. I have upgrade all the driver for my headset / Razer ManO'war and every other driver. I have also been on google to look for a solution but i haven't been able to find anything that would help. I would set 8.8.8.8 and 208.67.220.220 on your computers IPV4 settings for the ethernet or wifi port.
A lot of Cell phone Providers do not like VoIP traffic going through their Hotspots, this could be the issue as well. I would try to VPN through and see if there are any blocks as well as to allow ports for Steam.

Oh okay, are you talking Wi-Fi bridging, using a mobile hotspot? If so, it comes down to what ever is supplying the wi-fi first, that will be the DNS server used (what ever is saved in the router unless the device says otherwise).
Now if you are JUST using the mobile hotspot, you may be able to change the DNS for it by changing what DNS your LTE uses!
And this is all assumption because I rarely do both but that is how it should work

vsync issuses usually stem from hardware or software issues on the device using Vsync. So, is it turning off globally for the control panel for your graphics card or is it only turning off for foxhole?

There seems to be a rare bug with settings aswell, game settings revert when you open the settings. You can restart your game to see if it is actually working or not. But for my opinion, I don't think it's necessary to use Vsync.

It's for reduction though, not maximization and also you can try setting up Vsync to 'Application Preference' (or similar) in your graphics card's control panel.

Fixing issues with SIP ALG
**What is SIP ALG? **
SIP ALG is a protocol used by routers to modify packet headers to send traffic to Public Branch Exchanges (PBX systems) for VoIP traffic. PBXs are used to make calls and to route calls.
Why would this create an issue?
SIP ALG will change the location the VoIP or SIP traffic ends up. Causing dropped packets and possible issues with connecting to VoIP servers. VoIP needs a direct path to the servers without any translations or modification.
Solution:
One way to check if you have SIP ALG turned on is by running this tool:

This tool is not guaranteed to find if you are having SIP ALG issues but it could make for an easier diagnostic. Another thing worth checking is if your router has it turned on (Usually found in the firewall or Application Layer Gateway (ALG) settings)
