Technically it is a bug, it can be used as an exploit, and can be easily fixed by locating empty spaces around the barracks to spawn players in.

I was driving my truck over a bridge, I can't remember what map but just as I was crossing the middle of the bridge, I fell out the truck and thru the map and died. It's only the 2nd time it's happened but I figured I'd say something.

@amber zephyr so you replicated this once, was it twice in a row or just 2 disconnected times. When it happened the first time, were you also on a bridge, or were you not? Were you close to a wall when it happened or were you in the middle of the bridge?

Sorry to be so inquisitive about it, I just need to figure out if there is a clear progression of events that lead up to this for the devs.

Both times were in the middle of the bridge going full speed across it, I'd say same distance away from both walls. If happened 2 different times I'd say maybe a 3-4 days between the 2 on the same serve if I'm not mistaken. I can't not remember the name of the map but it had the town Salt Lake and Woodbind, hopefully I'm correct about the towns.

If I have named the towns correctly for the map it was on the right side of the map. If I remember right, there is only 1 main bridge on the right side where a truck can cross.

first time it happend, respawned there about 5 times with no issues, but those times it was just me or another person, that was the first time 3/4 people were at the same spot at the same time, i think we all died together in the same assault

Currently found a bug with grenades...Only works on your last grenade. When you throw it and run quickly after it releases from your hand and it switches to your fists, the grenade follows u and u suicide.

I'm not sure if others have had this problem. But for me, if I start the game with the audio going through the speakers, and then mid game plug in my headphones, the audio continues play through my speakers. All other applications on the computer play through the headphones. The only way to fix this is to restart the game with headphones plugged in.

Exactly. I'll get into a server with intention of recording gameplay, but then remember I have it playing through the speakers, which the mic picks up. It's a minor inconvenience, but still aggravating. haha

@shy moon That's been a constant struggle over the months. There is a solution: Walk about 200m away from the truck, which causes it to unrender, then re-render as you get closer again... it should reappear where it was before it flew off

@sleek oxide Possibly. There's one foxhole nearby and some fences but not much. I don't know what the spawn radius is or how the spawn timer is calculated. The other Sun's Hollow scrapyard seems to have messed up spawns as well, only spawning 2 scap at a time. Other scrapyards seem okay.

I always assumed that towns with two scrapyards just have one that spawns a ton of scrap, and tiny other one.

All the scrapyards are supposed to spawn the same amount of scrap, but they tend to go down as the game progresses because it gets stuck inside stuff I believe. This one is odd, however, because I'm not sure where all the scrap's gone..... if you get any more pictures of empty scrap fields be sure to post them here with the location so we can log them.

Got stuck in free-roam after a match on Fox 3 a couple nights ago. Had to completely close the game to get out of it. Coincidentally, I wish free-roam lasted longer, say, a minute before the next war, so this was neat to have happen at first.

They're doing the update differently now, now they start new servers on the new version and let the servers on the old version die off. So if youre on the new version, you cant join the old servers

They rolled back the update right after putting up the first server because they need to fix an issue they just found, the server will be back up in an hour or so.

Idk whose issue it is, but if you can't find Foxhole or some UE4 exe in the task manager to close, restarting your computer should fix it.

@steel grotto If you're running 0.0.24, you won't be able to use all of the servers. The devs have a rolling update system to not wipe the entire servers. If you want to get onto older versions, you have to specify that request in Steam properties. for foxhole.

Exited vehicle, or tried to. Ended up becoming the vehicle. Moving with WSAD would move the vehicle along with me (just sliding around). Relogging fixed this.

I have an issue with not being able to turn vehicles. Taking corners is usually a three to five point turn. Is this a bug. A client side issue. Or do I just not understand how to drive?

A halftrack with two players in it found itself (the HT) bound to another infantry man. If the infantry man spun around, we'd spin around. We don't know what caused it.

Things I've noticed so far:

  1. If you sprint while getting out of a foxhole with an MG, you can shoot while walking with it.
  2. Often a gun gets "jammed" and cannot be reloaded until I switch it in and out of my inventory

You can't destroy friendly blueprint in vehicle factory. Example: when a friendly starts a halftrack but ends up abandoning the project, we can't get rid of it without finishing it. Nevermind. Just took forever.

I just learned that there is a large discrepancy with where my bullets appear to be going and where they are actually going. Tracers are apparently misrepresentative and confusing projectiles, whereas actual bullet mechanics are hitscan. This isn't made clear enough to the player IMO. Some players will try to lead shots because they think they have to add travel time, when that makes them miss more. Tracers are necessary for both sides to tell where fire is coming from or going to, but IMO they should be modified to appear instantly and fade or shorten quickly towards their impact point to better represent how fast the bullets are actually travelling.

First, ensure that you have the latest Windows updates installed. If that doesn't work, try this solution offered by a user from another UE4 engine game:

When's the last time you've let Windows install all it's updates? There's an issue with the C++ 2015 runtime not being able to work properly in Windows 7 without a certain patch. You could try uninstalling both the x86 and x64 versions and making sure Windows 7 is completely up-to-date and restart before attempting the runtime installs.

Make sure you're uninstalling the C++ 2015 x86 and x64 runtimes from the add/remove programs utility in Windows before each attempt, and make sure you're installing the runtimes from the official Windows download, rather than the ones packaged with the game: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

After that, if they still don't install correctly, opening an administrative command prompt and running the sfc /scannow command could fix some additional things. Restart the system and try the runtime installs again after that, too.

I've got a bug, didn't have the time to take a video but basically I was stuck in the loop animation of repairing a halftrack

I was holding down LMB while repairing halftrack, but accidentally got into the gunners seat of the halftrack and ended up having the animation of me repairing the halftrack while inside of the gunners seat. Even if I released LMB, it would continue to repair, and I was stuck inside of the vehicle for a short period before spamming the exit button allowed me to leave the vehicle, however I was still stuck in the repair/build animation and could only move slightly when spamming wasd.

It cleared up after spamming to remove my weapon though.

Yeah, just had a bug where I spawned at the same time as another person and we couldn't move

I have no clue what the cause of it was, but I got in a pillbox while 100% encumbered and I was constantly walking in place in it, so when I ran out of stamina I just kept constantly falling over, walking, and falling over repeatedly

I'd fall over so often that I couldn't get out of the pillbox or drop my items or anything

You can get the left mouse button "stuck", by doing the following: While holding an hammer, hold the left mouse button. While you are hammering, if you try to weapon switch between hammerings (when the cursor is not an 'x'), you will get stuck doing the left mouse button animation to whichever weapon you are holding. Current fix i found: ask someone to kill you.
