The contest was great @solemn heart ! The format we had last year was just fine, the only real complaint people had was the writing section word limit being very very small. It was 1000 words I think?.. 2000 might be better without going into novel territory.
One addition I might suggest is to have a third, 'other' section where people can submit anything that doesn't qualify for the first two - it would still be judged, but not eligible for prizes. It'd allow the people that do something different to get showcased without the pressure of trying to judge them objectively for the sake of a prize.
As for the prizes itself, they were all great, the grand prize especially - you should think in the same vein and let the grand prize be some form of interaction with you guys beyond the scope of streams and roundtables and the like.
Also KFC told me I should pester you to ask for the font names you are using in the new UI. Pretty please?~

I'd like to see more medals for profile pages, like you can scroll through on the side of someones profile page through their medals and see what they got (Ex. Since I was in pre-alpha or whatever it was I got a bronze medal on my profile) Id like to see more medals liek if you participated in the Dead Harvest Event you get a Totem Medal, if you win the art competition you get a Silver medal with a silver paintbrush or something, just throwing that idea out there.

about 3-5 howies were brought up and for a solid 30 mins rained down on us

Listen up, Velian sons, we have an urgent situation on here, a massive Warden landing happened on beaches of Oarbreaker and are heading to our howitzer post that's crucial to our anti-naval defense. According to intelligence reports, Warden have about 600 men, from which 250 are mainly from 82nd "Death Korps" Regiment, and about 25 tanks at their disposal, they have a new superweapon too, it's light cannon called "Field Artillery", which is based on yet not re-discovered by us pre-war technology. "FA" is able to crush tanks and biggest fortresses from far away, with greater power than howiters of ours. The situation is urgent.
Your mission is burning down enemy forces to ash, destroying their tanks and capturing "FA" for usage of our military. If any "FA" will fire up, you can except a explosion on enormous scale, with casualites equal to scale of it, too.

Well, I had some spare time recently so I made something you probably havenโt seen yet. I present to you my version of a warden generalโs uniform. (And also our nice clan flag).

I created this look by using the following things:
- a Prussian officer sword (produces between 1900- 1918)
- a german officer dagger from the 1930s
- a german โReichswehrโ โ belt (1922)
- a โLandswehrโ visor cap โ made between 1914- 1918
- a French ww1 helmet (with repro badge so there are no visible holes on the front)
and an austrian litewka which had no insignia
Also no historical objects were harmed in the creation since I was able to do this without damaging anything.
The flag is 200cm x 120cm btw.

You select 4 items of the same category just like in a real foxhole factory, write the queue time (if there is a queue), a location and submit the order. The order will be shown to everyone in the same room (many people can work on the same link and their actions will be synchronized). When an order is submitted, you can see the progress of it on the second tab. For each submitted order there is card that shows the progress of the order. For orders in progress markers are generated on the map. If there are orders in progress, the marker is yellow. If all orders in the town are complete, the marker is green. If there are both complete and incomplete, the marker is yellow and green. Clicking the marker filters the orders by town.
The website has been adapted to work on most of the screens including smartphones.
Location input has autocomplete. If the website does not recognize the location input, the order will be placed in the assigned HQ by default.
Finished orders are returned back to the production plan table and displayed in green.
A unique generated link allows multiple people to join the same room and work on the same order.

Good old beeswax, it is best for this kind of stuff. It is quite hard when cold, but soft when you warm it in your hand. So you can model it with hand when warm and than engrave little details when it hardens a bit
