I agree with you. This is the criticism we want. Being the first stream, there was bound to be issues with how things flowed, which are now easily corrected for the next one.

Asking again because nobody answered: What's the recommended video editing program that everyone uses? I really just need something basic but if I need to fork out some money that's okay too.

@fresh wigeon I personally use Premiere Pro + After Effects (through Adobe Creative Cloud suite). A relatively inexpensive option for simple editing would be something by Magix. I use the whole Adobe Creative Cloud suite professionally though, since you get photoshop, illustrator and a bunch of other programs with it. If you have a .edu email address you can get a decent deal on it in case you have one. It's much more expensive than any other editing suite, but it's well worth it if you intend on using it long term. Try the trial (I think it's 7 days) to check it out. PC or Mac.
If you have a Mac, you could use Final Cut, or even simply iMovie.
Another popular option is Sony Vegas but quite frankly I've always preferred Adobe over it, plus the cost makes Creative Cloud even more worth it comparatively.

I'm using OBS for recording combined with Audacity for microphone. Blender for editing and GIMP for thumbnails
