#

Might go Colonial in War 58 but I don't know I really love snow,

chrome flower
#

Dont worry if you go Colonial youll get to fight in snow eventually xD

karmic ether
#

What should I chose? I mean how gamechanging this update to a sniper?

maiden fern
#

oh you use snipers. how cute

karmic ether
#

Nobody said that to me before 😊

#

But Yes I'm a sniper at least most of the time

#

If I'm smart I can eliminate emeny vehicles with a AT gun or at leaft disable Its track and throw granate on it to disarm if Its a tank,
If they calculate that well AT gun has usage on the vehicle weakpoints,

#

Now that open top vehicles are fragile one granate enough to kill the crew

#

About Balista take out its engine and Its yours Unless Its crew decide to leave the tank,

#

About Silverhand well Its big bit immune to mortar fire,
So destroy Its tracks and force the crew to leave the vehicle or die with it

maiden fern
#

i dont think you can immobilise vehicles with just modular damage

karmic ether
#

They don't talk about that?

maiden fern
#

you can slow them down by tracking but you cant straight up immobilise

#

also the engine only causes fuel leaks

#

which i guess is a way to stop a tank

karmic ether
#

This. Much more soft and kind than I think might change in the future,

chrome flower
#

🤔 If you slow it down you may be able to gas the crew out before they manage to retreate

maiden fern
#

if there was a way to instantly cripple a tank that didnt require to damage them with a powerful weapon, tanks would become completely useless

high rain
#

If I retrieve my own bmats from refinery as crates, can I give them to someone else who is NOT in my squad and have THEM store it in their depot squad storage?

woven scarab
#

hit them with artillery

#

that ought to throw a track

karmic ether
#

if there was a way to instantly cripple a tank that didnt require to damage them with a powerful weapon tanks would become completely useless
@maiden fern
20:1 soldier comes alive that,
Its really hard and takes a good thinking, and agility,
Its works for me in HLL, PS and Enlisted, because enlisted use WT physics!

#

Tanks are not because useless if they become realistic,

maiden fern
#

so you're saying that using a mortar on the engine block requires effort

woven scarab
#

mortar ain't accurate enough for anything more than a lucky hit
in real life anyway

#

mortar in foxhole is too accurate

maiden fern
#

this is foxhole

#

and even if they were less accurate you could still just get 4 people and insta cripple tanks

karmic ether
#

Whats a mortal shell penetration?
10mm 9mm 15mm?
Mortal brigs a lot of explosive power not AP shells,

maiden fern
#

mortars are themselves flawed in game due to how simple the game is

#

lets hope the arty update will fix that

woven scarab
#

mortar shell with impact fuse will do little against roof armor

karmic ether
#

Artillery is different,
But thats might not possibile

maiden fern
#

tanks have a lot less armor on the roof

chrome flower
#

Would be cool if you could destroy a tank by landing a mortar shell into commanders hatch. Beacouse i know that happened at least one in ww2

woven scarab
#

I wanna throw a grenade in there

chrome flower
#

That might work too

#

The one time that happened was in the battle of Dukla pass i think. Czechoslovakian brigade in USSR managed to land a shell inside Slovakian LT vz.35. I think it was from the 120mm mortar as well

karmic ether
cursive solar
#

imagine purpose building a glass sphere or a anti-tank rifle bullet with teargas or any kind of gas inside of them just to take out a tank, but all of your efforts were wasted because none of the efforts were viable in the first place, being outcompeted by a simple petrol bomb with a glass bottle

karmic ether
#

That tank burn out and blows up inside out and Its suspension brake under its weight,

maiden fern
#

i think its more about the burning liquid entering into the engine and fucking it up

karmic ether
#

Yes

maiden fern
#

if it actually burnt out the tank you wouldnt still have a turret on that t-34 due to the shells cooking off

chrome flower
#

Yeah i dont think Molotovs were all that efective. The liquid burns too fast and it burns off the motor only if you get lucky due to FPE and the design of the tank

maiden fern
#

not to mention you had to be in throwing range

karmic ether
maiden fern
#

something which AT grenades were better at

cursive solar
#

eh molotovs work sometimes, but landmines work wonders

#

just a shitload of explosives can do the trick

#

leave it on the T-34 engine grill and blow it up

chrome flower
#

The early Pz IVs were pretty well protected against Petrol bombs. The Engine hatches didnt had any holes in them all air intakes were from the sieds

maiden fern
#

@karmic ether i refuse to believe simple burning gas can melt fucking armour steel

chrome flower
#

eh molotovs work sometimes, but landmines work wonders
Japanese liked to wreck Shermans with Stachel charges

cursive solar
#

you're mistaken

the japanese only had satchel charges

#

or aircraft bombs

chrome flower
#

How bout Lunge mines?

cursive solar
#

they worked

#

but I love it's cousin

#

bamboo pole with explosive charge

chrome flower
#

Thats the one

cursive solar
#

no it' was technically shaped charge but it used existing fuses or something

#

something like a hand grenade fuse

karmic ether
cursive solar
#

so you'd have to strike it with a hard object and then pull the pin

#

and hold it against the tank for a few seconds

maiden fern
#

alcohol doesnt produce nearly the same heat as petrol

chrome flower
#

Yeah i know. Youd still have to be really lucky to take out any tank

karmic ether
#

@maiden fern Where you lean that? The still don't melt under fire just heated up or bend,

cursive solar
#

taking out tanks is one thing

maiden fern
karmic ether
maiden fern
cursive solar
#

IS-3
is that from postwar hungary or something

maiden fern
#

and just so you know drinking alcohol has a pretty low percentage of ethanol in it so it burns a lot less

karmic ether
#

@maiden fern Yes the still bend under the HEAT but not melt down,
Molotov not make a tanks into asteaming hot podle of liquid steal, 💙

#

@cursive solar 1956

maiden fern
#

unless hungarian resistance members had a way to separate pure ethanol from their vodka

cursive solar
#

I figured

karmic ether
#

@maiden fern Pälinka stronger then Vodka

cursive solar
#

postwar soviet city training for tankers was probably minimal

karmic ether
#

And the huns have a lot of them

chrome flower
#

Ah Pálenka. were making that at home sometimes

#

No wait thats Slivovice

maiden fern
#

again this is just an open fire burning on the surface of a tank, if you think that's enough to even soften steel then you underestimate tank armour

#

yes it could heat up inside the tank to uncomfortable levels but it wouldnt make the tank into play doe

chrome flower
#

The best it can do is overheat the engine

cursive solar
#

or set the fuel on fire

#

somehow.

chrome flower
#

Youd had to get REALLY lucky wit that fuel

karmic ether
#

80% Pälinka the normal around 40-50%
I would feel that! 💙

chrome flower
#

Thats why i like early Pz IVs

maiden fern
chrome flower
#

Look at that back almost totally flat. That lowers the chance for the fuel to get inside

karmic ether
#

Sadly we don't have a vehicle in Foxhole that based on Panzer serie😔

cursive solar
#

good, don't want 15-ton crane operator/mechanic game every time command delays parts shipments for a upcoming offensive on a nearby front

chrome flower
#

To be fair Pz IV and down were pretty reliable

maiden fern
#

yeah

cursive solar
#

they actually worked

#

unlike the many wehrboo prototypes

maiden fern
#

i dont get why people focus so much on german prototypes when all countries had stupid ideas

shrewd flume
#

Because they are german

#

Kultur

chrome flower
#

Ehm. They have a certain charm to them...

cursive solar
#

when german army high command notes poland as a strategic faiure

karmic ether
#

Ah yes, Making devbranch earlier for "streamers" that have one viewer, and then delaying it Two fucking times cz its "not ready sorry uwu" they dont even care anymore, i mean what do we expect from people who fucking ban for a lemon joke

#

How would a Panzer series based tank serie fit inside Foxhole and how does it looked like?

chrome flower
#

Good qestion

cursive solar
#

it would have proprietary materials to fix it's system

shrewd flume
#

Well for one it probably would be a blend of things and not just one thing

maiden fern
#

i mean warden vehicles have a bit of german to them so i wouldnt think it's out of the question to have a panzer looking one

sinful bridgeBOT
#

dynoSuccess ClapfootLoveLemons#5030 was muted | low effort troll

atomic meteor
#

Well that was easy

cursive solar
#

ez clap

maiden fern
#

i really wouldnt be against going away from the stupid round designs

karmic ether
#

Okey I search for panzers 💙

atomic meteor
#

Do y'all think it's a little hard to differentiate between the warden vics because of that, or nah?

maiden fern
#

i think devs take the "distinctive aspects" too seriously

cursive solar
#

warden tanks have more in common with british design philosophies of prototyping and improving designs over many cycles

notably the many mks

chrome flower
#

So we would have...
PzI (Light tank designed against infantry)
PzII (Light AT tank with autocannon)
PzIII (A proper medium AT)
PzIV (A heavy tank for infantry support)
StuG III (A Self proppeled gun for infantry support)

cursive solar
#

you mean farming tractors

#

many farming tractors

maiden fern
#

i hate that all warden vehicles have to be super round and all colonial vehicles have to be super angular. all countries had variations and so should foxhole vehicles

gaunt geyser
#

And the ostwind!!

cursive solar
#

why ostwind

woven scarab
#

and my axe!

gaunt geyser
#

Cause it's a good tank

woven scarab
#

it's an SPAA

cursive solar
#

why not go wirbel for the hell of it

chrome flower
#

i hate that all warden vehicles have to be super round and all colonial vehicles have to be super angular. all countries had variations and so should foxhole vehicles
Yeah FCM36 and Hotchkiss 35

karmic ether
#

And I found! This will be the Panzer II base in Foxhole Its a Blueprint vehicle the prototype of the panzer II prototype

gaunt geyser
#

Good against infantry, planes and even light vehicles

woven scarab
#

that's the vk 3601, the predecessor to the Tiger

maiden fern
#

until it gets shot by either one of them in actual real life scenarios @gaunt geyser

chrome flower
#

But if we were to go by Wardens round...

gaunt geyser
#

Look at this dood

cursive solar
#

what is that

chrome flower
#

Char Peugeot

cursive solar
#

that looks awsome and terrible against infantry at the same time

chrome flower
#

From 1918

maiden fern
#

too french

gaunt geyser
#

Must be a hell to manufacture

woven scarab
#

I prefer le cône

cursive solar
#

Cone was a managable tank

maiden fern
#

the turret looks like it's made from several pieces so i dont think it's too hard @gaunt geyser

gaunt geyser
#

Eh yeah

chrome flower
#

You mean my boy FCM36?

woven scarab
#

le cône

gaunt geyser
#

But that firing angle tho

karmic ether
#

@gaunt geyser Casting
And you only need a shape form to cast out the body of the tank

woven scarab
#

but yes

#

the FCM 36

chrome flower
#

FCM36 was well armoured. but the gun... Why did the French manufactured so many SA18s

gaunt geyser
#

Well we had surplus from ww1

chrome flower
#

Yeah i know

cursive solar
#

they used WW1 surplus for magino because the civillians that worked army spending just did that

chrome flower
#

I still love French interwar tanks

maiden fern
#

i hate all french tanks

cursive solar
#

oy no

maiden fern
#

they all have a distinctive flaw that makes them terrible

gaunt geyser
#

French tanks are okay

chrome flower
#

They have their reasons why they have those flaws

sharp surge
#

how do i join devbranch server?

gaunt geyser
#

They are still better than the Bob semple

woven scarab
#

AMX-13 is 👌

gaunt geyser
#

@sharp surge no devbranch yet

chrome flower
#

Thats not interwar tho

gaunt geyser
#

French modern tanks are pretty cool

karmic ether
#

FXM 36 would fit inside foxhole for the Warden but with some changes,
It will have a bigger gun and get the Warden LT tracks

atomic meteor
#

What is the flaw that makes them all terrible?

#

the correct answer is no radios

gaunt geyser
#

Those sweet autoloaders

#

And outdated doctrines

drowsy cipher
woven scarab
#

the correct answer is no radios
using flags

cursive solar
#

them there's the soviet tanks with all of them sporting a autoloader

chrome flower
#

So french tank flaws:
Bad guns - WW1 Surplus small military budget
Two man designs - Small male population after WW2

#

Sure theres many more

maiden fern
#

no i mean they all have at least one flaw that makes the bad. its like french always focus on one part of the tank and say fuck it with the rest

atomic meteor
#

Guns weren't too bad for the time tbh.

cursive solar
#

Dimitri help, my hand is stuck in the autoloader

atomic meteor
#

The ergonomics were shit on the B1, but other than that it was manageable.

cursive solar
#

Whirr
AAAAAA

atomic meteor
#

The biggest flaw is just not having radios. Would've overcome so much.

maiden fern
#

it didnt have mobility. thats not good in modern WW2 tank combat @atomic meteor

gaunt geyser
#

Are the French the only ones to use wheeled tanks?

karmic ether
gaunt geyser
#

It seems like it

atomic meteor
#

There was no "modern tank combat" in 1939.

maiden fern
#

yes they were ok in defence but imagine the french attacking with b1 tanks

cursive solar
#

ah yes, permanent trackage

maiden fern
#

im saying "modern" in the way that its not just slow ass moving pieces of metal on no mans land @atomic meteor

gaunt geyser
#

There kinda was a modern tank combat in 1939

cursive solar
#

division org down to 0

gaunt geyser
#

In the few panzerdivisions

chrome flower
#

yes they were ok in defence but imagine the french attacking with b1 tanks
Battle of Stonne?

frozen elk
#

too many people think about tanks in WW2 like they're MBTs of today

gaunt geyser
#

Ye

atomic meteor
#

If they simply had radios, things would have gone much worse for the Germans. That's not to touch on the serious flawsnin the fresh high command though . . . .

chrome flower
#

What was the ratio? 13 destroyed German tanks no B1bis lost?

cursive solar
#

the french command structure was dated in the first place

atomic meteor
#

B1s were only part of their tank arm. The H35s were ok.

gaunt geyser
#

Our high command was bad several times in history

cursive solar
#

generals got bamboozled hard

karmic ether
cursive solar
#

Long boi

gaunt geyser
#

It's like a curse that sticks with the French republic

maiden fern
#

@atomic meteor radios werent the only flaw, like i said germans could just produce more panzers and flank the slow moving b1's

atomic meteor
#

"dated" doesn't even begin to cover it. It's honestly disastrous. English were pretty shit at the time too, but they got over it.

cursive solar
#

the british equipment was just good enough to curbstomp colonial subjects

atomic meteor
#

Like, you want to grab the bastards by the shoulders and shake them, screaming DONT YOU REALIZE YOURE FIGHTING A WAR???

cursive solar
#

the labor governments didn't allow expansion

maiden fern
#

if germans had more artillery and more dive bombers i bet b1's wouldnt even have been remembered

atomic meteor
#

French had more tanks that the Germans though Mattshrug

gaunt geyser
#

They had less men tho

cursive solar
#

the french were actually pretty good on motorization after ww1

frozen elk
#

germans
having planes

atomic meteor
#

It wasn't that the Germans outnumbered their tanks, it's that they concentrated them and used local superiority and maneuverability (thanks to working radios) that won the blitz.

chrome flower
gaunt geyser
#

And our tanks lacked mobility and support

frozen elk
#

the absolute STATE of allied air superiority by 1944

maiden fern
#

@atomic meteor yes but we're talking about b1's here. panzers didnt have problems killing the less armoured slow ass weak cannoned smaller french tanks

atomic meteor
#

Support wasn't even a word in their tactics handbooks lol

cursive solar
#

when you overdo air superiority that friendly fire was the bigger issue than the luftwaffe

gaunt geyser
#

Luftwaffe got really just in the battle of France tho

atomic meteor
#

Considering the vast majority of the tanks the Germans used were fucking PZ1s, I don't think inferior french tanks were the problem.

gaunt geyser
#

Like half of their planes

karmic ether
cursive solar
#

le quack

gaunt geyser
#

They had better doctrines and no allies that spoke another language

karmic ether
#

Why does every French tank looks like a Duck?!!?

frozen elk
#

i blame the history channel for this argument

atomic meteor
#

That's a safe bet @frozen elk

gaunt geyser
#

And no corrupt commanders

cursive solar
#

I love me pyramids and aliens

#

also ice road truckers

frozen elk
#

honestly fuck the history channel, they're the entire reason you get so much fucking "but what if"ism about the germans in WW2, and also why we have so many fucking wehraboos

atomic meteor
#

That's what happens when a public channel sells out Mattshrug

frozen elk
#

that and they dissed the sherman and i like the sherman but that's a personal vendetta

gaunt geyser
#

Damn, high command is still hated by French soldiers today

maiden fern
#

im pretty sure all armies hate their superiors

cursive solar
#

@gaunt geyser how's the adoption of hk416 going for ya

atomic meteor
#

To be fair, much if the wheraboo ammo is kinda the US's fault

frozen elk
#

oh definitely

gaunt geyser
#

@cursive solar I don't like it

karmic ether
gaunt geyser
#

We had a better option

atomic meteor
#

They took in former German commanders and had them write about Soviet doctrine, and in the absence of Soviet voices, it gave a "superior" depiction of the German army VS the "human wave" red army.

gaunt geyser
#

The French weapons used by the Australian army

cursive solar
#

hey, you're in a better position than only having 2 weeks worth of ammo for wartime expenditure

#

JSDF moment

gaunt geyser
#

Oof

maiden fern
#

french made some good ass guns

#

thats something i'll never hate

gaunt geyser
#

We still have Dassault stuff tho

frozen elk
#

yeah, i've talked to plenty of russians and just in general people who know plenty of stuff about the russian military doctrine back then and it's so misrepresented

#

operation paperclip was a mistake

cursive solar

the MAS-36 is honestly one of my favorite (if not my complete favorite) bolt action rifles

maiden fern

of course the red army only gave some soldiers ammo without weapons, isnt that how an army works

karmic ether
#

@cursive solar And get headshot by Simo Häyhä 💙

cursive solar
#

MAS-36 worked, but it's very sad that despite the RSC existing, they couldn't adopt a selfloading rifle

frozen elk

oh totally

cursive solar

they worked on it during 1914

the MAS-36 is honestly one of my favorite (if not my complete favorite) bolt action rifles

lmao nice

cursive solar
#

if the great war was later, the french would have been legendary

frozen elk
#

i actually quite like french guns, they're interesting

cursive solar
#

and not a consistient clusterfuck

karmic ether
#

About weapons What type of weapons you would love?

maiden fern
#

french guns are good, not just interesting

frozen elk
#

ye

cursive solar
#

I will defend the chauchat to the grave

chrome flower
#

I mean Austro-Hungary also worked on Semiauto rifles even before WW1

maiden fern
#

they are extremely underrepresented

gaunt geyser
#

And there is that french machine gun used to kill mussolini

#

It looks pretty cool

atomic meteor
#

Eh. Much of the French "getting good" was necessitated by experiencing the wars firsthand. A few more years of peacetime wouldn't've made a big difference.

chrome flower
#

These things

frozen elk
#

my thing about the chauchat is that it was an excellent gun, just not for the conditions of the war i'd say

cursive solar
#

the french do many revolutionary things, just at the wrong time

chrome flower
#

They work kinda like Gewehr 42

cursive solar
#

poudre b moment

atomic meteor
#

For the conditions of the French Army in 1916, it was the gun for the job.

frozen elk
#

another thing about the chauchat was that it was really thin, which made it somewhat awkward too iirc

atomic meteor
#

An LMG that can be manufactured in a bicycle factory, for goodness sake.

maiden fern
#

the chauchat having a bad rep is literally only because of the american versions having wrong or bad ammo and thus being extremely unreliable

cursive solar
#

Pierre, the fucking magazine lip

gaunt geyser
#

French army was ruined by bureaucracy, and the modern military thinkers like de Gaulle had no power to make a better army

cursive solar
#

Fix it

frozen elk
#

absolutely PISSED about the fact that the US didn't adopt the lewis gun or the lewis assault phase rifle

atomic meteor
#

It was also a straight janky gun, but that's the point so.

karmic ether
#

So the Warden Assault rifle will have parts from French German and Ausztro-Hungarian weapons???

Faction based weapons would be nice maybe next update

maiden fern
#

definitely not anytime soon

cursive solar
#

the lewis was objectively better but the expeditionary force used the chauchat for some reason

#

36,000 of them worth much in taxpayer revenue wasted

gaunt geyser
#

Because they were equipped by the french

cursive solar
#

relegated to the airforce

atomic meteor
#

Probably an issue of availability

#

I'll bet they were able to manufacture way more chauchats than Lewis guns

gaunt geyser
#

And the chauchat was working with the French caliber

cursive solar
#

then there's the belgians who get curbstomped and forgotten

frozen elk
#

to me, the lewis gun not being adopted along with UCP, the M14, and the forward assist on the AR15 are just examples of how fucked the US army is

cursive solar
#

staying neutral will work right guys?

atomic meteor
#

Shouldn't've pussied out of the Maginot extension Mattshrug

gaunt geyser

@cursive solar they gotta defend their forts goddamit

#

At least the forward assist did what it was supposed to

frozen elk

the army has a fucking historical record of making stupid decisions because they don't fucking understand shit

#

that and beauracracy

atomic meteor

It's because what they want isn't possible, so they run out of time and money and their temporary solution hacked in solution becomes the defacto standard for the next 50 years.

gaunt geyser
#

The strength of the US army was that they couldn't follow orders properly

#

And carpet bombing

frozen elk

bruh you think thats bad imagine being issued the L85 and it literally falling apart in your hands @frozen elk

you know the things you need

i absolutely love the M16 purely because it just fucking works

#

The jltv?

atomic meteor

What kind of armor?

M14 was an excellent gun for the wrong war

#

as a design, at least

#

then you get into the QA issues

maiden fern
#

automatic m14

atomic meteor
#

Yeah, pinnacle of Garand's system I believe.

frozen elk
#

and the fact that they tried to make an OICW of it ruined it

cursive solar
#

remember the multitude of rifle programs designed to improve average accuracy?

"you can't get marksmanship awards with a flechette rifle" -gun jesus

frozen elk
#

anyone hear about the M15?

#

literally just a fucking automatic m14 with a bipod and pistol grip

atomic meteor
#

Tbh good thing they didn't go with flechettes anyway.

cursive solar
#

yeah

ebon walrus
#

Sounds like a thomson but big bollet

atomic meteor
#

Or multi round bs whatever

cursive solar
#

finnicky ammunition issue is the last thing a grunt wants

ebon walrus
#

The IAR is a cool gun tho

atomic meteor
#

Plus, can you imagine aiming right at a fucker and swearing the flechettes go all around him, but miss?

#

IAR cool gun

gaunt geyser
#

Why using flechettes when you can be more precise with a 22lr?

cursive solar
#

it devolves into a Q&A of "where'd my tax money go" at some point

ebon walrus
#

Its like the BAR but more modern so it has an i

maiden fern
#

22lr as a military caliber

gaunt geyser
#

Bruh

frozen elk
#

IAR is arguably just the marines adopting the idea of the RPK

#

it's the same goddamn idea

cursive solar
#

the BAR was ruined at A2

#

the bipod is bad

frozen elk
#

the BAR was terrible from the start

gaunt geyser
#

22rl is cheap and does not make a lot of noise.

maiden fern
#

the BAR was never good and people need to knows this more

ebon walrus
#

I have a soft spot for the BAR

atomic meteor
#

5.56, in-line recoil for good follow-ups, plus modern optics has tuned out to be the best solution anywhere.

gaunt geyser
#

Only good points of the 22lr

ebon walrus
#

Its a damn cool gun

cursive solar
#

the BAR did what john moses browning intended to do

ebon walrus
#

Not great at anything

cursive solar
#

which was experimental more than anything

atomic meteor
#

BAR was the best gun ever in WW1, bar none (pun not intended)

ebon walrus
#

But its sexy

atomic meteor
#

By WW2 it was kinda a meme

plain mountain
frozen elk
#

in comparison to the lewis gun as well as the idea of the lewis assault phase rifle which even in prototypes was just better in every way, including ergonomics

maiden fern
#

its too heavy for an lmg, not enough rounds for an mmg and too large to be a battle rifle. it's fucking stupid @ebon walrus

ebon walrus
#

Yeah yeah yeah

plain mountain
#

one of my favorite lever actions

cursive solar
#

@plain mountain nyet, mosin is fine.

ebon walrus
#

But its so damn good looking

frozen elk
#

1895 rifles are great, i love them

atomic meteor
#

Yes, yes we can appreciate a Winchester lever action in 7.62x54r. yes we can . . .@plain mountain

gaunt geyser
#

You're all talking about good designs, but the best design is a twin 12gauge, time has shown it 😉

cursive solar
#

kek

plain mountain
#

it looks SO COOL though like holy shit I want one just for cool factor alone

ebon walrus
#

And I mean the doctrine behind it is the idea the marines have with the IAR to an extent

#

If everyone has a bar you dont need an lmg

atomic meteor
#

God, a Russian Winchester is just so cool. It's gotta be the big daddy of all.lever actions, right? With a round like that.

plain mountain
#

a fucking clip-fed high caliber lever action feels like a steampunk thing but here we are

ebon walrus
#

De-densifying fire support

atomic meteor
#

BAR way too fucking huge for that, and doesn't share mags. IAR is lightweight and shares mags. Too different for it to work.

gaunt geyser
#

chambers 25mm into rifle

cursive solar
#

@ebon walrus RPK bootleg idea

#

yes?

ebon walrus
#

yes

frozen elk
#

@ebon walrus the IAR's more akin to the RPK the soviets used, literally just a rifle that was heavier and was more suited to support, and could use magazines from their squadmates if needed

plain mountain
#

it's one of the larger lever actions ever made iirc @atomic meteor but I could be wrong

ebon walrus
#

Yes

atomic meteor
#

I'm sure there are one or two that could rival elephant gun territory.

#

?

frozen elk
plain mountain
#

hmmmmm

#

what is THAT

cursive solar
#

Czech gun best gun

maiden fern
#

i want to hunt rabbits with an elephant gun

real swift
#

perfect lmao

frozen elk
#

vz. 58 is honestly my favorite soviet rifle

atomic meteor
#

Oh hey wanna see something cool guys?

cursive solar
#

ZB.26 best LMG

frozen elk
#

@plain mountain welcome to the cult of czech excellence

gaunt geyser
#

Where is my bird hunting flak gun?

atomic meteor
cursive solar
#

NO

atomic meteor
#

^ check it

real swift
#

lmao i love this vid

plain mountain
#

LOL I know that vid

atomic meteor
#

YES

ebon walrus
#

The BAR only really worked because the US ran M1s

atomic meteor
#

YEEEES

cursive solar
#

NO dremel

ebon walrus
#

The garand is such a damn good gun

cursive solar
#

AHH

real swift
#

garand is bae man

plain mountain
#

garands are sweet shooters

chrome flower
#

can we appreciate this rifle first though
YES

frozen elk
#

@atomic meteor as an owner of an M1 carbine that video made my blood run cold

real swift
#

ngl if you get copped out of a garand ping its actually fucking painful

atomic meteor
#

As it should. As it should . . .

ebon walrus
#

And the BAR did provide a higher rate of fire

maiden fern
#

@atomic meteor actually that skorpion carbine modification looks pretty fucking dope

ebon walrus
#

But 30 round mag

real swift
#

bro the stinger was pog

atomic meteor
#

Do you think god John Moses Browning stays in heaven because he fears what we have created?

cursive solar
#

every time I see a sporterized and bubba'd arisaka I feel pain

ebon walrus
#

Stinger was the best lmg ever made

frozen elk
#

stinger best gun

real swift
#

made by a marine with random shit he found

cursive solar
#

not the stoner 63?

frozen elk
#

stoner 63 is another favorite of mine

real swift
maiden fern
atomic meteor

Stoner is best gun for 80's special forces uncles with Miami vice music in the background

marine corp:

"just give us the belt fed version, don't need anything else"

real swift
atomic meteor
#

Speaking of

real swift
#

love it

atomic meteor
#

Johnson rifles are pretty neat

maiden fern
#

@atomic meteor bro there's a documentary on youtube about the stoner gun in vietnam war

atomic meteor
#

Grade A alt history material

ebon walrus
#

Yeah the germans did the whole MG thing alot better than the americans

frozen elk
#

oh dude the johnson rifle was the inspiration i had for this one gun i designed for a mod for RWR

ebon walrus
#

Although slapping M2s on everything also kinda worked

cursive solar
#

they minmaxed MG more than they needed

atomic meteor
#

Well, they did kinda invet the concept of a universal MG

real swift
#

oh yeah thats true

gaunt geyser
#

What about gyrojets for alternative history?

plain mountain
#

looks like most lever actions are in .45-70 or some variant of a pistol cartridge so it may be that the 1895 winchester is one of the largest caliber lever actions ever made @atomic meteor

atomic meteor
#

Ehh. Kinda poopoo

cursive solar
#

gyrojet is wack

real swift
#

m2 is such a iconic thing man

frozen elk
#

imagine a BAR with a drum mag and vaguely federov inspired as well

atomic meteor
#

Niiiice @plain mountain

frozen elk
#

20 round mag you have to feed with stripper clips

gaunt geyser
#

Imagine having an ammunition that costs $100 per unit

ebon walrus
#

The thing that gets me with the BAR is that its a solid gun (i mean it was designed by browning)

plain mountain
#

gotta be happy with my gewehr for now though until I get monies to indulge in my gun collector habit

gaunt geyser
#

And not even precise

atomic meteor
#

Imagine being literally the pinnacle of technology in your niche after 100+ years in service in the largest conflicts known to man, through the age of vacvum tubes, transistors and microchips.

ebon walrus
#

Ive heard its pretty damn reliable

karmic ether
#

I am so happy we don't use Bullpub MGs in the Finnish deffence forces, I'm left handed and the cartridge casings will hit my face, 😔 NOT funny!

real swift
#

lmao

#

ma deuce delivers man

plain mountain
#

I find it cool that Mauser is still in business building bolt action rifles after all these years

gaunt geyser
#

Famas solves the problem

frozen elk
#

ma deuce is and always will be best HMG

#

It Just Works

atomic meteor
#

Christ, is anyone here not a disciple of gun Jesus?

ebon walrus
#

I mean I wouldnt mind a redesigned m2 that wasnt a literal steel box

gaunt geyser
#

Or forward ejection bullpups

cursive solar
#

but muh maxim

ebon walrus
#

But yeah the M2 is quite a special weapon

gaunt geyser
#

@atomic meteor me

plain mountain
#

I discovered gun jesus a few months ago and I've never looked back

safe aspen
#

Praise.

atomic meteor
#

M2 of course could use a modernization . . . but it just works too damn well for anyone to care.

karmic ether
#

Bullpup guns are bad, AK gun structures are the best like RK 62 or RK 90 💙

ebon walrus
#

Gun jesus is the way to go

plain mountain
#

ah yes, the modern iron throne

cursive solar
#

that's a pretty huge ass

atomic meteor
#

@gaunt geyser fix yourself peepoknife

gaunt geyser
#

No.

atomic meteor
cursive solar
#

no bullpups allowed

ebon walrus
#

I personally dont really like the look of the AK that much

real swift
#

you can change the main rifle, you can change the LMG, ma deuce is timeless.

gaunt geyser
#

I shall be French and watch French channels

plain mountain
#

also the german military still uses a modern version of the MG-42, if it ain't broke don't fix it anclurk

real swift
#

^

gaunt geyser
#

Bullpup man good

cursive solar
#

MG-3 works

ebon walrus
#

MG-5 tho

plain mountain
#

MG-3 go brrrrr

gaunt geyser
#

Imagine having a longer weapon in urban warfare

atomic meteor
#

@gaunt geyser you do know that Gun Jesus is literally the biggest Francophile on YouTube, right?

gaunt geyser
#

Yeah

frozen elk
#

tbh my hierarchy of top weapons are like

gaunt geyser
#

But eh, he is too calm for me

atomic meteor
#

He sticks up for the French more than anyone I know, including the French tbh

gaunt geyser
#

And too apolitic

real swift
#

what about those new rifles the US is lookin at doe

karmic ether
atomic meteor
#

^ that's how you know he's good

cursive solar
#

NO, you can't just spray the fulda gap and blunt our mechanized push!1!!

"haha, MG-3 go brr"

frozen elk
#

AR15 platform styled rifles > vz. 58 > RK62 / RK95 > kalashnikov rifles

cursive solar
#

kananishkov is just a rifle, and it works fine

#

it's just a standard

gaunt geyser
#

FAL>>>all

atomic meteor
#

Anyone see CZ's BRENs recently? To Eyre pretty nice.

frozen elk
#

AR-18 > all

atomic meteor
#

@frozen elk you're ok

gaunt geyser
#

FAL looks dope and hits hard, what more do you want?

ebon walrus
#

I like the FAL

maiden fern
#

@gaunt geyser less weight

frozen elk
#

i honestly think galils and RKs are the best kalashnikov variants

cursive solar
#

the rifle grenade feature on the FAL is very nice

plain mountain
#

I have a Vz. 98 anclurk

atomic meteor
#

Something I can realistically use in a modern battlefield? @gaunt geyser

cursive solar
#

sadly rifle grenades are no longer meta for some reason

frozen elk
#

rifle grenades are chad

gaunt geyser
#

@atomic meteor lemme use a black powder revolver real quick

cursive solar
#

Poomp

boom

maiden fern
#

@cursive solar just use an underbarrel nade launcher

ebon walrus
#

Bro gotta get the automatic grenade launcher

maiden fern
#

underbarrel lets you shoot and explode people

cursive solar
#

but muh less moving parts

gaunt geyser
#

Bomb minigun

karmic ether
#

@frozen elk thats not true, but because they builded on the same AK structures they look similar for the naked eye,

atomic meteor
#

Yeah lemme just carry a gun that checks list

I won't hit as often with,
Weighs more,
And I can't carry as much ammo for,
Compared to any other modern rifle.

ebon walrus
#

I think infantry squads should all get access to at least one gau 8

maiden fern
#

not to mention rifle grenades can just explode if you load the wrong ammo

frozen elk
#

galils are actually variants of RKs, iirc

#

so it's a variant of a variant

gaunt geyser
#

Large American ammo man bad

plain mountain
#

remember when I literally shot a wet blanket to prove someone false when they were trying to "out-science" me

ebon walrus
#

Yes

atomic meteor
#

That was pretty funny

frozen elk
#

i don't think i was around for that enlighten me

cursive solar
#

tell us that range story

maiden fern
#

@plain mountain wait what was the argument

atomic meteor
#

A dude was like "wet blankets can stop bullets"

maiden fern
#

bruh

gaunt geyser
#

What the heck

maiden fern
#

lets equip our army with wet blankets

atomic meteor
#

Cuz some kind of physics trickery

#

No, a hanging wet blanket

cursive solar
#

how'd it go

#

did the bullet win?

atomic meteor
#

Something about density or something, he thought the blanket would like. Catch the bullet or something

maiden fern
#

maybe some really weak cartridges

ebon walrus
#

Bullets tend to not lose

cursive solar
#

.22lr

plain mountain
#

someone was trying to use their "aeroscience" degree background and trying to explain that soldiers in ww1 used wet blankets to stop bullets and was 100% sure of it and trying to egg me on because I disagree, so I literally took my 100 year old rifle and dated ammunition, took a wet blanket, hung it, and shot it. surprise surprise, it pierced right though

maiden fern
#

22lr would just pierce

atomic meteor
#

Anclet and not-smoothebrains on here were like "that's dumb"

ebon walrus
#

In most situations expect the bullet to win

atomic meteor
#

Yeah @plain mountain kinda went full fucking Chad mode on him

cursive solar
#

no ww1 soldier would risk having much in the way of getting hit

or getting hit in the first place

atomic meteor
#

Pretty sure he made the guys balls shrink 3 sizes that day.

ebon walrus
#

The concept behind it isnt stupid, just very misguided

maiden fern
#

wait he thought a full sized rifle cartridge wouldnt go through?!?!?!?

plain mountain
#

yes

atomic meteor
#

yes

maiden fern
#

WHAT

atomic meteor
#

No you don't understand

#

He had a degree

gaunt geyser
#

Big bren

atomic meteor
#

In engineering

cursive solar
#

nah, something designed to go over 2000 meters has no way of stopping from a blanket

karmic ether
#

Hell

atomic meteor
#

Therefore

plain mountain
#

people trying to argue firearms stuff when they have no actual experience with firearms

atomic meteor
#

He's always right

frozen elk
#

lmao i have an M1 carbine, i should disprove the korean war shit

gaunt geyser
#

That's how we get gyrojets people

cursive solar
#

the degree is supposed to give you a good estimate, not predict the future

maiden fern
#

that isnt even engineering, it's literally simple ballistics

atomic meteor
#

Tell that to engineers @cursive solar

maiden fern
#

you can calculate that shit with high school physics

ebon walrus
#

Not really

atomic meteor
#

Or, you don't calculate it at all

plain mountain
#

so here's the thing he was trying to argue that it would work by telling us that a large net suspended in the air catches a plane perfectly fine. that was literally the thing he used to argue that the bullet and wet towel would work

atomic meteor
#

And use common fucking sense

ebon walrus
#

A blanket isnt simple physics

cursive solar
#

nah, my dad still slams people trying to do shit in theory instead of remembering basic thermodynamics

#

he works in stress testing

atomic meteor
#

Like

maiden fern
#

@ebon walrus the kinetic energy of the moving bullet is

ebon walrus
#

Yes but the collision isnt

atomic meteor
#

Modern Kevlar still won't stop a full size rifle cartridge at less than 100 meters.

#

How the fuck is a wet blanket going to do it?

cursive solar
#

kevlar is rather old

atomic meteor
#

Also, how else you know he was full of shit:

ebon walrus
#

Its hard enough to calculate an elastic collision

plain mountain
#

it'll crush your ribs even if it does stop it

cursive solar
#

kevlar is supposed to stop you from dying and that's it

frozen elk
#

all that energy doesn't just dissipate lmao

maiden fern
#

@ebon walrus you literally just have to know the breaking point of the blanket

atomic meteor
#

Zero mention of the actual properties of the blanket. What it's made of, thickness, density, wetness, angle.

cursive solar
#

Muh fudds

atomic meteor
#

As though that wouldn't matter

#

When supposedly stopping a bullet

cursive solar
#

even water needs 2 meters

plain mountain
#

an 8mm mauser cartridge wouldn't stop for a blanket unless it was like 3m thick

atomic meteor
#

Right?

cursive solar
#

yeah.

ebon walrus
#

Let alone calculate the hardness + toughness of a wet blanket to figure out whether the initial collision would penetrate or push back the blanket

gaunt geyser
#

Did he told you it could stop AT rockets?

ebon walrus
#

Its definately doable

#

But it also isnt highschool level physics

plain mountain
#

so here's the thing: wet blankets were used in ww1 trenches. they were used to combat gas from sinking down into dugouts and tunnels

karmic ether
#

On the other discord guys talk about dinosaur skin would stop bullets hbquestions

maiden fern
#

its still not university level let me tell you

ebon walrus
#

I would say it is

#

I mean in the end he was wrong

cursive solar
#

dinosaurs will have a forced evolutionary factor of needing to be smaller once americans figure out how to time travel

plain mountain
#

some big brain probably heard of some old vet talking about wet blankets in trenches and figured "oh that must've been to stop bullets" and that's where the rumor circulated from

ebon walrus
#

But im sure he had some degree of a valid idea on why it would work

cursive solar
#

Fudd momento

#

momento fuddo

karmic ether
#

@cursive solar humans will hunt dinosaurus to extention again In years if not months! 💙

gaunt geyser
#

Maybe because of the experiment that demonstrates the existence of electrons around atoms

cursive solar
#

don't worry, someone will export them to the aztecs to make america not exist

gaunt geyser
#

With the gold sheet

ebon walrus
#

If anything putting up a blanket would give you a place to stay hidden

cursive solar
#

why would you use concealment instead of cover

ebon walrus
#

Which is important when the enemy wants to shoot ur head off

gaunt geyser
#

Disease will take care of the Aztecs

cursive solar
#

where heavy guns are roaring every day

gaunt geyser
#

Cover is cover

maiden fern
#

so you have a trench and you decide to use whet blanket to conceil

ebon walrus
#

Idk maybe you want to stretch or something

#

Its still concealment lel

cursive solar
#

doen't stop a 15cm howitzer

ebon walrus
#

I havent lived in a trench for 3 years so idk why you would want one but im sure there are reasons

maiden fern
karmic ether

Welcome to Jurassic Wolrd,
@cursive solar
Oh no wait I got an Intel that humans have a butt load of firearms and guns and military

So Welcome to normal World, 😔

plain mountain

screech

ebon walrus
#

Rip

gaunt geyser
#

Better have a blanket than being naked on the no man's land

ebon walrus
#

Lol

frozen elk
cursive solar
#

yes but where's your standard issue entrenching tool

ebon walrus
#

Was putting blankets over barbed wire a thing in ww2?

atomic meteor
#

The gas thing makes total sense. Early makeshift masks were just water (or piss) soaked cloths tied over the mouth.

cursive solar
#

yeah

#

they used something thick to do it

gaunt geyser
#

Well, moving is not the best idea while being alone in the no man's land

ebon walrus
#

That could be where it came from

atomic meteor
#

You'd hang it over doorways though, you wouldnt just hang it everywhere.

cursive solar
#

british royal engineer corps did that a lot

plain mountain
#

yeah that's what I meant, over dugout entrances

cursive solar
#

noman's land is cock and ball torture

ebon walrus
#

I mean that could stop slower shrapnel

gaunt geyser
#

But with Artillery shells and bullets @cursive solar

ebon walrus
#

Shrapnel doesnt have fantastic ballistics properties

karmic ether
#

@cursive solar with mud

cursive solar

imagine dying for an idea that just might work

gaunt geyser

Welcome to the world of science

@atomic meteor I found the screenshots of the convo

this gom b gud

bullets do no care about your fuddlore

plain mountain

I ranted to my bf about it while it was happening so I took screens of the convo to show him

gaunt geyser
#

I remember hearing about a German jumping off hills to test gliders

ebon walrus
#

Oh yeah

gaunt geyser
#

He broke both of his legs but he advanced research

#

He saw that as an absolute win

cursive solar

confused about your referral to 'bf'

#

but anyways

plain mountain

wut

cursive solar

my brain operates at peacetime capacity

plain mountain

lol

atomic meteor
#

So, full retard level?

cursive solar
#

more or less

atomic meteor
#

Understandable

plain mountain
#

obviously I ranted about it to my battlefield, I always have the game on hand to yell at

atomic meteor
#

Post the convo dude!

cursive solar
#

you must be one of those PTFO types

karmic ether
#

So we talk about military engineers or researchers who died/hurt while testing?

plain mountain
#

I wonder if I should censor the name or not kasilly

frozen elk
#

you might wanna lmao

cursive solar
#

eh, I could care less, people being slightly less than common sense
but do so for posterity

karmic ether
#

Censor it? Why?

cursive solar
#

idk, it's rather embarrasing

plain mountain
#

cause it's someone here and people gonna ping em cause people are children

cursive solar
#

yes

karmic ether
#

@plain mountain speak for your self, 💙

plain mountain
frozen elk
cursive solar
#

was ist das?

plain mountain

mfw someone says shooting a wet blanket won't penetrate it

#

ok time to edit convo pics then I guess

cursive solar

maybe at 3000 yards

karmic ether
#

Whats that in meters?

cursive solar
#

some football fields

frozen elk
#

football fields are different for europeans too

cursive solar

plain mountain

I measure by roman footsoldiers per square mile

cursive solar

ah yes

#

how many leaugues is it to the nearest walmart?

karmic ether

Walmart = Ve Ruokakauppaan?

cursive solar

is it the finnish equivalent for the 'man I look slighly poor' store?

We fixed the glitch, but broke the nuke. There we go.

plain mountain
#

pfft

karmic ether
#

Excellent!

cinder basin
#

so when?

#

are we there yet?

chrome flower
#

Well ww1 bullets were a bit weaker then today but still

maiden fern
#

bruh

#

have you seen a full sized rifle cartridge and compared it to the pussy intermediate ammo we use today

plain mountain
#

8mm Mauser is way stronger than the standard 5.56 most standard us military rifles use. anything larger is used for marksmen/sharpshooting

cinder basin
#

5.56 is controllable in rapid fire. 308 thicc boi is hard to control. today they are considering using the Creedmoor as the main infantry bullet since it hits hard and (apparently) it is way more controllable then the 308.

maiden fern
#

.308 isnt just hard to control

plain mountain
#

yeah, more controllable, easier to carry, supply, and manufacture, and has just about the same lethality as larger cartridges

lean turret
#

Well, ppl realized filling enemy with holes is better than one 👀

maiden fern
#

you would shoot the sky if you shot a .308 assault rifle

#

fuck then it becomes a battle rifle

#

something that's outdated

#

i still dont get why there's a debate about "bigger bullet is better"

#

same people that say the 45acp is intrinsically better than the 9mm because it's slightly bigger

cursive solar
#

bigger bullet is not better, only goes farther

plain mountain
#

most engagement distances aren't over huge areas though, nowadays

#

people are stuck in old doctrine and thinking

cursive solar
#

yeah we aren't fighting the boers

plain mountain
#

you can get huge distance with a .30 cal, for example, but in a tight urban environment (and that's where a lot of fighting happens), you're not going to have the best capacity or recoil control for CQC and suppression

#

will it tear someone to shreds on contact? absolutely, but a 5.56 round will inflict damage just as well and is lighter on weight and logistics

maiden fern
#

not to mention it's always better to have more chances to hit something than having smaller magazines

plain mountain
#

exactly

cursive solar
#

chances are that if you're engaging over 300 yards, you won't hit if they're returning fire

plain mountain
#

if you're engaging at 300 yards, if you do hit with a 5.56, it's still going to do damage

cursive solar
#

yeah it works good enough

maiden fern
#

army just expected soldiers to be snipers shooting accurately all the time. kind of stupid to base your doctrine on range tests only but hey thats how they did it

we all know we're just going to use a M72 LAW and blow the mud hut up

plain mountain
#

armies used to train soldiers to always just shoot to kill, but after ww2 I think they saw the value in suppression tactics, with the advent of more auto and semi auto rifles and other weapons

#

of course soldiers still shoot to kill but keeping your enemy suppressed is a surefire way to get them to stay low rather than wait to shoot them if they run out

#

@cursive solar yeah air superiority really changed the game as well

#

once you have the skies to yourself it becomes really hard to lose any open engagement

cursive solar
#

using the world's largest intelligence network and using a well-equipped airforce, works quite a lot

#

but the grunt will have artillery

#

because muntions are expensive

gaunt geyser
#

Even shoot to kill is not the most efficient now

#

Because an injuried soldier will have to be sent in the backline

lean turret
#

Depends whom you shoot markfootapproves

cursive solar
#

why shoot a soldier when you can airstrike a general

lean turret
#

But what if general is retarded GWchadMEGATHINK

high rain
#

What's that retarded f'ing thing people do where they spam crouch when they get shot

maiden fern
#

its called not standing still like targets?

high rain
#

No, I mean like they spam it

#

On-off-on-off-on-off

maiden fern
#

oh then they're trying to evade bullets but they're doing it wrong

#

only works on semi autos anyways

high rain
#

What do you mean "works on"? What is this thing?

maiden fern
#

if you crouch the millisecond before they shoot their aim gets thrown off and they miss

high rain
#

That's so dumb

maiden fern
#

since aiming works weird

#

you can just aim lower and you wont miss

#

just that people always aim too high

high rain
#

Aim lower? What do you mean? As in, aim at the ground beneath them?

maiden fern
#

no i mean put your cursor where you wont shoot over if they decide to crouch

#

lots of people just aim past people or aim on their head

high rain
#

Doesn't the cursor lock on to them automatically?

maiden fern
#

no?

high rain
#

Weird, I must have hacks. My cursor always locks on to people

maiden fern
#

huh

viscid inlet
#

if you aim at someone, it'll change elevation to their torso

#

which is why you cant shoot people in trenches unless you aim past them and hit their head

maiden fern
#

and thats only if you get lucky with elevation

high rain
#

I thought you could hit people behind cover, but that each shot has a chance of missing

maiden fern
#

generally just dont even waste ammo shooting at people in trenches unless you have clear view

#

yes thats a thing too

high rain
#

So why not shoot them and wait until you get lucky with a hit?

maiden fern
#

thats the reason why you can miss you rifle shot when the guy is clearly hit. i fucking hate that when it happens

#

because you dont have unlimited ammo

viscid inlet
#

imagine shooting a guy with a sniper 3 times but the first 2 miss cause hes in cover

maiden fern
#

and thats not really effective since they can get healed

#

imo cover mechanic shouldnt even affect the rifle and sniper

#

carbine is fine because it shoots faster

viscid inlet
#

agree

high rain
#

What about shooting people who are downed and nearby? I can never fucking hit a downed soldier who's between ~0-20 meters. I aim right at them and the bullet just flies right by.

#

Then they always laugh at me on voice "Hahaha, you can't shoot a wounded soldier who's unmoving"

maiden fern
#

oh yeah thats because the prone hitbox is stupidly small

high rain
#

I always respond, "Yeah, you fucking try it, hotshot, it's fucking buggy"

maiden fern
#

you can get used to it if you practice

#

just gotta know the sweetspot

high rain
#

So then why is it that I have no problem hitting downed soldiers FAR away, only NEARBY

maiden fern
#

it's like an unspoken rule that your credibility as a shooter is demonstrated by you being able to insta kill downed players lol

viscid inlet
#

dont stand right next to them if you're gonna shoot them

#

take a step back and you'll be able to hit them

high rain
#

Even if they're 10 meters away, I can't reliably hit them

maiden fern
#

you just gotta know the sweetspot

high rain
#

Well, I must have missed that part of the training camp

#

and after 300 hours of time played, still haven't figured it out

maiden fern
#

i do it all the time while running because 1. it makes me look like a chad to run and kill with a rifle without even missing a beat and 2. it wastes less time

high rain
#

well, lookatchyu

maiden fern
#

like all games foxhole combat has a lot to do with muscle memory and experience

#

dont be angry if you cant do everything on the first try

high rain
#

300 hours is well past a first try

maiden fern
#

i have 270 hours in cs:go and i still cant shoot things correctly
