You gotta do it like old world blues btw @vernal flicker : navigable rivers should be put in as tiny, narrow sea zones. Bridges represented by strait crossings. And only non-navigable rivers as the hoi4 rivers. That way you can take navies and do amphibious assaults down rivers as well as get supplies shipped.

10s are different because saying "Tenty" and "Twenty" is only one letter different and saying it with English intent would be confusing. So people had to figure out a way to say everything from 11 to 19 differently. Eleven and Twelve are special because of how the numbers 13-19 work. "Thirdteen (Thirteen)" is also particular because its not four-teen its the Third of the numbers and not as you would expect "Threeteen" the D has been dropped from that progression (Saying the d sucks and humans are lazy and there's no information in the D). That's also the reason why 11 and 12 have their own words because saying onceteen and twiceteen probably didn't catch on. (You cant cut out much either Twiteen and onteen don't work and cutting down only the C in once means you just have the word one again)
Cant forget that for every human learning language came before learning math.
Its all actually not that strange once you do have it down but theres an issue that teachers don't really try to give perspective on why things could be particular in a language.
