I wouldn't worry about the gap and more about how to make the best move independent of others. You will slowly gain this way.

Personally, I would look to get Kane.

I would sell Mitrovic to Kane, and to get the remaining 0.8, you have some options.

Downgrade Salah to Mahrez (switching your premium)

Cancelo to Ake / another City defender

Almiron to Mitoma? (Not sure if he rose in price yet)

Also you should keep mind on Martial news. He is most likely fit for Crystal Palace, but you could look to offload him if he's unfit for the Manchester derby.

That is what I would do. You could also just look to upgrade Almiron to someone like Mahrez and not take a hit.
